How do I delete Hotspot Shield VPN?

Why can't i uninstall Hotspot Shield?

I have installed Hotspot Shield for both Firefox and Chrome on my laptop (Windows 8.1). It does run very well with Firefox, but everytime I use Chrome, I get a "This Web Browser is Not Fully Up To Date" message in the bottom right corner and it keeps poping up. When I go into the privacy settings, I can't find hotspot shield anywhere. I also can't uninstall it without getting some error like:

"You're about to uninstall Hotspot Shield for Firefox. This is permanent if you uninstall. Does anyone know how I can uninstall Hotspot Shield? From their website: Hotspot Shield is incompatible with Chrome. We strongly recommend using Firefox instead of Chrome. You can download the installer here.

If you are having trouble installing the update or setting preferences, just use Firefox.
