Which animated movie won the Oscar?
The 89th Academy Awards, called the Oscars, was held on March 7, 2025.
How many people saw the film that won Best Picture? The winner of the 2025 Academy Award for Best Picture is. Answers. Hi all I hope all of you are well. As well as the animated films it was also the year the first film to get a zero rating in the IMDB poll was Avatar. I think my favorite has to be Up but I have to say my other choices have gone through so many changes since that time. Anyways I hope all of you are well and the season is going ok and im glad that I got to vote for my friend this year.
It is funny you say that because I had already voted for Avatar up until a week or so ago. My favorite is definitely UP but I can't even remember what it is about. I wish I knew what it was about because I love the movie. My other two favorites are WALL-E and The Blind Side. Both really good movies. It is hard to explain. I remember being really emotional when Wall-E won and I was watching it and I remember feeling how sweet and cute the movie was. Then I felt so happy for the actors that took home awards. I don't know what the Blind Side is about. I can't wait to see it. I just hope the other films get great reviews like Wall-E. I hope all the films do well this weekend. The Oscars are always a fun time to watch.
There were 4 new animated films that released last year and my favorites were Up, Toy Story 3, Tangled and the Oscar winner, The Princess and the Frog. Hi all my name is Dwayne I thought I would give you a quick introduction about myself. I am 22 years old and I love to enjoy movies and spend every free minute watching them. Like most others I am a fan of animated films but for me the one that takes top honors is Toy Story. I love all the characters especially Buzz Lightyear and Mr Potato Head. What do you think is your best animated film? Thanks for answering.
Hiya I am 14 years old I love to spend time watching movies and play video games and I love movies.
What is the top 1 cartoon movie in the world?
With the huge success of films like Bambi, Aladdin and Dumbo, it's easy to forget that before Disney there were other people doing it too.
This list of the top 1 cartoon movie in the world features some of the most iconic stories of all time. These are the top 1 cartoon movie in the world.
Aardman Animation, The Pirates! Band Of Misfits (2016). While Aardman and Disney's classic tales are often compared to each other, Aardman is generally considered to have produced some of the most successful animated movies ever made. Band Of Misfits is no exception.
This quirky comedy centres around a group of four miscreants on a mission to capture the Pirate King's treasure. The movie was hugely successful across the world and spawned a sequel.
Walt Disney Studios, Lilo & Stitch (2002). Lilo & Stitch was the first of the Disney Renaissance era movies and featured a unique blend of sci-fi, comedy and drama. One of the most beloved characters of the entire movie is Lilo, the little alien girl whose father's death causes her to escape Earth. Her journey takes her through space and across several universes in search of her mother and her true identity.
The movie was loved by audiences of all ages and was a huge hit at the box office. It also established Disney's reputation for great family movies.
Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Lion King (1994). Another Disney Renaissance movie, The Lion King has become one of the most beloved movies in the entire world. This live action remake of the original animation is a stunning production and features one of the most visually stunning features of any animated movie.
The movie also features amazing voices including James Earl Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeremy Irons, Jim Cummings and Seth Rogen. While not as successful at the box office as either Lilo or Stitch, this movie is one of the most cherished films of all time.
Warner Bros, Toy Story (1995). Toy Story remains one of the biggest selling movies of all time and helped change the industry forever. This movie features Andy, the owner of a broken down cowboy doll who takes it on a very exciting adventure.
The movie features memorable voices including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Estelle.
What is the number 1 animated film?
"The Lion King," of course, has sold more than 80 million tickets since its 1994 premiere.
This is the year 1994! The year 1996, for that matter. This is how the story goes. A little boy and girl in a faraway village see a lion and a lioness in the middle of the savannah -- and they have to save the lion's cub and their own. (You don't need a "The Lion King" joke; you just have to know the story.)
And now the year 2025, and we have the most-watched, most-buzzed-about movie ever -- "The Dark Knight." It just keeps going. And now a new generation will be brought in on the fun. Will we see that it will be an "Iron Man" and a "Spider-Man" kind of year?
I think the answer to this question lies with three things, none of which are "The Lion King." First, there is the box office. In a lot of ways, the studios are the kings of box office, not the stars. There's a reason that some of the biggest movies of all time are not about "real people," and why the most successful filmmakers have all been storytellers. These three characters are the biggest stars of them all, but their numbers pale in comparison to "Battleship," "X-Men: First Class" and "Avatar" -- the big moneymakers.
In the late 1960s, I worked at a small independent film company. We would send out telegrams to people who had seen new movies that would say, "Have you seen one called 'Blaze?' What do you think of it?" We would get 200 or 300 responses at most, but the question would start up huge chains of emails to people everywhere. Someone might say, "The box office is not a measure of quality; it is only a measure of gross profit -- at the expense of other things like 'seriousness.'"
That may be true of studios making small independent films, but if you look at the studios' major successes in those first decades after World War II, there were no exceptions. Some of the movies may not have been great, some may have had great cinematography, etc. But this was the studio system -- big money, big movies, even if the cost was the integrity of the material.
What is considered the best animated film?
Best animated films are the ones that we all have seen, that we all have loved and that we all remember.
Every time we watch them, we are reminded of something or someone from our childhood. The films we list here are the ones that we all watched and loved at some point in our childhood. They are the films that were probably watched over and over again, the ones that had great effects and scenes, they are the ones that you can keep watching over and over again and never get tired of. And finally, they are the ones that we will all miss when they leave the screen. There are hundreds of animated films but here are a few of the best.
Toy Story (1995). This is the one that started it all. This film was released in 1995, in the same year that the Super Nintendo Entertainment System was released and it is still loved and remembered today. The film is about a toy called Woody and his friends, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and their mother, who live in a house called Andy's room. The toys go out into the world to experience things but then they get lost. The film is full of memorable characters and great effects and it has all the things you would expect from a Disney film.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). It is hard to believe that it took so long for animated film to be adapted from a live action film, but Who Framed Roger Rabbit did it. It was the first time that animated film was based on a live action film and the film was the first one to use cartoon characters. It is the story of a detective who discovers a plot to murder a politician and his wife. The film features a series of hilarious characters such as Marvin the Martian, Eddie Valiant, Toonsylvania and more. This film is definitely worth watching and the sequel, Eddie Valiant, is just as good.
Toy Story 2 (1999). It is no surprise that the first two films of this list are Pixar films. This one is just as funny and has the same iconic characters as the first one, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and more. This time the toys go on a trip through space but they get separated from each other and go in different directions. The film has great jokes and great character development and it is a great sequel to the first film.
