What was Disney's most successful cartoon?
Which Disney TV series was the most popular?
Which of these characters were best suited for a short? If you're anything like us, you're constantly bugging your friends about where they're eating and what they're doing and if they're happy. We want to make sure they have a great time so we keep an eye on their vacations, check in on them when they go on a date, and tell their parents how things are going. We also love sharing all of the cool stuff they're doing at Disney World!
So with all of these videos and details of their trips to the parks, there are some points we miss when talking to them and we'd love to know what those are! Share in the comments below and let us know what is on your Disney wish list! For some of you, the Disneyland Resort has been your destination of choice, but for others, the Walt Disney World Resort might be calling your name. For many of our readers, who are first-time visitors to Disney World, the question that keeps coming up is "Is it better to go to Disneyland or Disney World?" The answer will differ from person to person, but we have compiled a list of five pros and cons to help narrow the decision for you. Read on for more information.
Walt Disney World vs. Disneyland - Pros and Cons Disneyland - Disney World - Which is Better? As we've mentioned earlier, the parks are a bit different. The main difference is that Disney World feels more open-ended.
While Disneyland feels like it is closed off, Disney World is set up to allow you to explore for yourself. You will find that Disney World has some of the best rides for adults and older kids, while Disneyland's older rides are better for younger kids.
Disneyland seems to be geared towards families more than the other park, but the parks can be experienced separately or together. The one thing both parks have in common is a fantastic show - the fireworks at Disneyland and the Magic, Music, & Memories shows at Disney World are amazing! Disneyland is more expensive than Disney World.
What is considered Disney's best animated movie?
With a couple of exceptions, Disney movies are either really good or totally awesome.
There's really no in-between. They're either a solid 5 or a solid 0. (The other 1/4 belongs to Pixar.so don't bother even counting them.)
Since there really aren't many, many Disney movies that are mediocre, here's a look at the top ten: 10) Aladdin. (Actually, let's say number 10 and 20 belong to the same movie.) This is arguably the only Disney film that has a fair shot at being an Oscar-nominated picture (if it doesn't, that probably won't happen in 2000). I'm really surprised that Aladdin gets as low as number 10. This really IS a great movie. I love this movie's characters, music, and story. And the animation is gorgeous. The opening number is just brilliant! That's probably why Aladdin stays on the top ten list. It is so well-done.
(You may notice that I've made an exception for "The Lion King", which is my personal favorite Disney film (it's at 14 in my personal top 25 list, which is a separate matter - but then I think "The Lion King" has become a lot more popular over the years), and therefore stays in the top ten, even though it also has two really weak-performing songs. I'm putting it in, if you like, even though it's not the most important of Disney movies, just because it's my favorite Disney film.)
9) Pinocchio. Another example of brilliant animation. As good a movie as this is, though, it doesn't even come close to getting nominated for an Oscar. It's nominated for best soundtrack or for best effects. The character designs for Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket are both terrific, even if they aren't the best characters in the whole movie. This is Disney's version of "Carmen Jones", a big budget animated musical. The story is very short, though. There are some good things and some bad things about this film. It may not be one of my personal favorites, but it is another classic in Disney's canon.
8) Alice In Wonderland. Disney's first (and also its biggest, actually) adaptation of a novel. The movie stays close to its source material.
