What is the salary of Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate?

A Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate (MCA) is a computer programmer who has acquired the knowledge, expertise and experience of Azure cloud technologies, services, solutions and products. The duties of an MCA include working with Azure Cloud Developer tools (Visual Studio, Windows Azure), programming for the Cloud Computing platform, debugging applications and testing solutions. This certification will make a person highly capable to develop software that runs on the Microsoft Azure platform. It is important to mention that the exam is offered online only and the candidate has to have certain skills set of course depending on their education background.

The candidates attending this exam can expect that a huge database of questions will be there but still the process of passing this exam is not easy as compared to other Azure certifications. The exam duration is 3 hours with a choice of two different options. In addition to the two choices of test slots the candidates can choose between either English or Spanish language.

The first option is Take the entire exam in English or Spanish. It means the candidates are given one option to choose between English or Spanish one click. This option is available for all Azure developer certifications.

The second option is Take individual modules in English or Spanish. This means candidates can select their favorite modules (categories) from multiple-choice type question and proceed to solve those questions as and when they wish.

The exam is administered through the Virtual Learning Center (VLC) via webcam where the candidates will have to submit an ID and password at the end. Candidates can access the Virtual Learning Center (VLC) by visiting mca.microsoft. On the page you will be prompted to sign in using your email address and password you used when you registered for the exam. To access the VLC, go to the top of the screen where it says Next and scroll down to View. There will be a link which says Begin exam. When you are inside the VLC, you can choose from the Categories based on modules you would like to access. At the end, click the button saying Finish exam and get redirected to the certificate page for verification.

I am going to be moving to the USA in January and I am looking into whether Azure is a high paying job in the USI am an Australian who has a PhD in Maths, but I haven't worked in IT for about 7 years, since I was doing my PhD. I have also had two small children and I'm not sure if I would be able to take time off work to look after them while I was working from home, so I want to get a job where I can work from home.

Thanks for the responses. I have already looked into what my skills are and have been told that I have no coding experience at all. I will have to do some coding to get up to speed but hopefully I can get a job that will be flexible enough for me to work from home. I have been reading about AWS as a possible place to start, but I am more interested in Azure and would prefer to work with it if possible.

You need to learn to code. You could do that by enrolling in a course offered by an online school. They usually provide free tuition, but you might be required to pay for books and other materials.

Another option is to sign up for a coding boot camp. They typically require a bit more than an online course, but you get a crash course in coding and your first pay check will be decent.

If you've got time on your hands, you can start with AWS. In order to get a job, you'll need to have at least a Bachelors degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc) or at least a MS degree in a relevant field.

You're not going to find a high paying job that doesn't require a lot of coding. If you want to learn to code you can't really go wrong with any of those suggestions. You will need to be able to code in order to get a job working on the Microsoft platform. There's no way around that.

If you want to get a job that pays well, you should probably go with AWS. It's not the same as a Azure job, but it's still a pretty good option. However, if you're not a coder, then you'll need to learn some coding skills.
