There are lots of VPN extensions available for the browser, but which one is best?

The following VPNs will help you to encrypt your internet traffic and bypass censorship, so that you can access any website you want, anywhere in the world. To truly overcome censorship and surveillance, users need to adopt encryption techniques to secure their data.

There's a reason that the most-searched VPN extension on Google Trends searches for best VPN for Chrome and best VPN Chrome extension is Wire. BestVPN.org also has an excellent Wire review.

The Wire VPN for Chrome extension does pretty much everything you would want out of a VPN extension. It's fast, secure, easy to use, and it supports all the VPN protocols you would want in a browser extension. But there are a few minor issues.

If you have a slow or unreliable connection, you might want to consider moving away from the free version. Otherwise, Wire is pretty reliable, and offers lots of features and support.

The main issue with Wire's app is that it comes with a very limited free trial (the free version). If you only want the basic features, you're better off using the free Wire mobile app.

However, Wire does offer a pro plan that comes with extra features like unlimited data transfer, dedicated IP addresses, and more.95 per month. It also comes with seven days of the full version, so you get to try the app out without paying anything.

How to install Wire VPN on Google Chrome. Installing Wire on Chrome is a very simple process that takes about three steps: Open Chrome and go to chrome://apps. Click on Add and then select App. Select Install from the drop down menu. After the download completes, you'll need to manually start the Wire Chrome extension. Open Chrome and select the More tab. Then click on the gear icon and select Settings.

If you haven't used a VPN before, you might be confused about where your traffic is going. The Wire Chrome extension allows you to see the amount of traffic from each country, so you can easily find your location.

Is there a free VPN that works with Netflix?

Hey everyone, my wife and I are currently planning a European vacation and the travel company I work with offers both WIFI and 4G on the plane which they can provide.

The flights themselves have been paid for through our own credit cards, however we've never used 4G on any trip before and have no idea how to manage it. Is there a free service out there that works with Netflix that we could use on the trip? Even if it just allows us to use the VPN and not a 4G connection for Netflix would be fine.

Any suggestions or experiences you may have with this? I was originally thinking something like but the closest service I could find is Would love to hear from anyone who has done this before! I think No-VPN is a good option. There are also other paid VPN services that don't require an account. Just search for "VPN for Netflix" and you'll find plenty of choices.

My experience is using Unblock US. It works, but the quality is not great, the performance in streaming content is abysmal. It is good enough to work for most people, but it certainly not the best available for streaming high quality content.

You could also use the un-blocked service but change your network to one with 4G. I think it will work if the 4G provider is running some kind of data limiting plan. Unfortunately for me, the only such provider in my area would be Virgin Media.

EDIT: Just found this thread (). There is more information on the situation with 4G. I'm also not sure how accurate it is or how the information might apply to your particular situation. There doesn't seem to be any details about the plan you're looking at.

This is the thread that was posted by your fellow poster earlier. I hope it helps Netflix is blocked in the EU, as they want you to download their app. However there are two ways of going around this.

What works in practice? Any VPN solution which will meet your needs will do.
