We're back at it in 2014! And as last year, we're bringing in the experts to break it down. From the streets near you all the way up to the skyways of L., from Koreatown all the way to Echo Park. It's gonna be an epic season of analysis and exploration of a street system that has been both maligned and celebrated over the years. To give us a few insights, we're bringing back the man that brought us Street Signs, and who has followed everything for the past few years - Greg Scobba! For those of you following along from afar, Greg can be found in season 1 with his long hair flowing and a backpack and jacket for a change. He was the dude who had the best idea on how to film this series, which is that we needed a good vantage point overlooking the whole show. And we didn't have one.

Our first stop is the street sign at the beginning of season 1, as seen in the previous post. Greg was the first to put up these signs, and they ended up getting a lot of attention, which was fantastic because I hate attention! The next time I see the words Street Signs and No Street Signs at a bus stop or in a coffee shop, it will because Greg's crew was filming there. Greg has also since put up signs on the Westside, North Hollywood, and Hollywood, so let's visit some of these locations!

What a fun little documentary this was! After following the progress of the signs and getting an inside look at what it was like, it's safe to say that Greg's crew (and friends) made a good documentary about a cool initiative. To be able to watch Greg and his team interact with the people on the street and the business owners and homeowners who owned these streets in the first place was interesting to me and gave me a different perspective on why the signs got put up in the first place.
