My public-space usage will be quite frequent. I will share data that I cant get through my university LAN (some movies, photos, music, code, .) I do have a few VPS from a reliable and trusted company but they are in the U., which is also a big issue because of the NSA-law. If i'm going to stay on an EU company, NordVPN makes the most sense and seems most trusted. Even with the 5 euro plan. So, can I use a server from an EU company that still runs in the USA? Should I pay double per month? Is there any potential that my connection will suddenly get "compromised" somehow or that there will be a legal issue with hosting a virtual server abroad?
