What is the difference between lifeline and ACP?

What is the difference between lifeline and ACP?

Lifeline gives the most complete and immediate access to the entire lifecycle of the project.

ACP helps you keep projects on track and allows you to make better and faster decisions. What is an ACP? An ACP (Agile Central Product) records the decisions made during the course of the project, along with any associated details that might be of use in other parts of the project. It also records the status of a project at any point in its lifecycle (ie which Milestone it is in, what phase it is in and what it has been completed for).

For more information on ACP's you can refer to our ACP Overview or ACP Guide. Who uses ACP? ACP is used by Agile Admins in all Agile & Non-Agile environments. However, the majority of customers are using it for their Agile projects as it provides them with the most valuable features.

Why we're asking about this: Since we are seeing an increasing number of our customers asking for this ability to create and administer ACPs we have had to develop a new module which was launched in April 2025. We now plan to add the capability to our customer helpdesk interface (via our Agile Helpdesk product) and will likely include this in a future release of that product.

How can I use the ACP. There are a few ways in which you can interact with ACP's and can be summarised as follows: User ACP by going to Agile/CPE. Admin ACP by either going to Agile/CPE and click on Create an ACP and use this to add an ACP or else use CPE directly by clicking on the Create an ACP dropdown (only if this feature is available in your version of Agile). What are some key benefits of ACP? To start with, the main benefit to users is that they can monitor an entire ACP so you get all the information in one place from any point on the project. The best way to think about the benefits of using ACP is in terms of the project lifecycle and by thinking about some aspects of each milestone such as: How can I use it?

Can I use my ACP for internet and phone?

I'd like to be able to use my phone as a phone and internet while out on the trails.

Right now it's connected to the power with my ACP but that's just not practical and will soon go out. I tried using a battery pack (from an iPad) connected to the computer instead but that doesn't have long enough charge time or enough range (it only lasted 3-4 hours at that range) to be useful. Do the standard USB chargers work better for this? Are there any phone/internet combos that I can get that will work better for this?

No you can't. Your Acpower connects through the phone network so the phone itself would need to connect though a wireless ac power adapter in order to send and receive packets over the internet. It will not do it with a usb charger, or a charger built into your phone. You could rig something up if you wanted, maybe one of these phone AC adapters would work:

They work pretty much the same as the old iPhone adapters. The downside is that the "AC" output will not charge a phone using a standard USB cable, it uses the internal charger or the AC adapter.

My recommendation is to bring a power cord. It'll be more practical as well as being less weight on the vehicle. Also, many of the newer smartphones will charge while being clipped to your seatbelt so they'll likely charge off the vehicle's 12v battery.

Thanks for the ideas. I don't really want to lug it out there with me but just being connected to a phone is better than nothing if I need to. The charger seems to connect fairly easily when the phone and computer are attached, but the problem is that with the phone in there is only a small hole at the bottom and that's enough that a laptop gets shoved in there and even with the back open to vent steam there's nowhere to put anything else. What are the pros and cons of charging and using a computer with a phone through the same USB charger?

There is no good way to do what you're attempting to do at this time. I know a guy that uses a small computer (about the size of your palm) and he runs a small computer on it.

Is there a way to get free internet?

I've used to read articles and I get fed up with this thing where they always state that, "There is no way to get free internet!

" I would like to know if there is a way to get free internet because at least I get fed up when people just say there is no way, instead of saying there is a way. I'm not stupid. I already know what I'm doing but I'd still like to know if there is any way. Please answer.

Re: ? No. Just make sure you use the internet regularly. It's not much different from buying a cell phone or a laptop. You'll have to be disciplined, but you'll only be charged for what you use.

The whole purpose of Internet is for business. So it's better if one uses it as a business. We all know that people use the Internet for entertainment. But I can say that people who use the Internet for entertainment are not using it as a business tool.

There are lots of programs that are free that you can download for your pc, like webmail. You can also download e-mail to send and receive through free programs such as e-mail. If you need the programs free so you do not have to pay for them, that is also free.

Internet is about giving information and making money from that. As long as you are not making money off of your network, there is no need to be concerned with the number of connections available to you. The problem is that many people like to be able to look at the latest information on everything without having to pay for it. Unfortunately, that is not possible. The more people you have connected to your Internet, the more you will be able to use.
