Screen Time. If your kids are young, you may have heard of Screen Time. It's a free iOS app that helps you monitor your child's screen time. It's a great place to start. You can view all of your children's device activities from their most recent visit to the app. You can even export reports for later review.

One feature we love about Screen Time is the ability to send a text or email message if your child exceeds a certain amount of time on his or her device. This app can be a little clunky, though, if you're used to other monitoring apps. Sometimes it's difficult to access specific information like your child's location or the amount of time spent watching TV, for example.

You're able to set a reminder so that you can find out more information about what your child is doing when it goes off. This is a very important feature in helping you monitor your child's time.

There are only two other features that we think really take this app from just being a regular iPhone app to one you should definitely try. TimeLimit. Another one of our favorite apps is TimeLimit.
