Why did my Google Workspace account get disabled?
I opened a Google Workspace account for testing purposes a couple of months ago and then disabled it a few weeks ago.
Now I've recently re-enabled it but the system is not recognising that I have already activated it and still thinks it needs to be registered on a G Suite account. I don't know why this is happening and have even tried changing the password but the system refuses to acknowledge the activation. What should I do to correct this?
It is possible that the Google Account was only registered to the Google Drive service. If the Google Account was used in Google Apps and then later on Google Drive, it is possible that the registration can still be in the Google Drive service but it is not registered in the Google Apps service.
To be sure, we need to check if the Google Account is also registered in the Google Apps service. If this is the case, you can register the Google Account in the Google Apps service by using the Google Apps Manager () and there should be an option to register the Google Account in the Google Apps service. Note: Depending on your business needs, the option to create a new project () or transfer the project from another account can be available in the Google Apps Manager. Finally, you can re-activate the Google Workspace by creating a new account and use the Google Account that was previously registered in the Google Apps service.
How do I stop my Google account from being suspended?
I have a Google account, and recently I tried to report a video on YouTube.
It didn't work, and YouTube emailed me saying I couldn't do that because of an automatic suspension.
I reported the video, and it was accepted. Then later that night, I got a message saying my account had been suspended and that I could no longer log in to my account.
I called up the Google help desk and they confirmed that my account was suspended because I reported a YouTube video. They also said they couldn't help me because they only know how to handle things for regular Gmail users and not for Google Apps users. They said they would transfer me to the Google Apps support team to resolve the issue.
But they never transferred me to anyone, and now I can't login to my Google account. I have no idea what the suspension is all about, since I haven't done anything wrong.
Does anyone have any idea how I can resolve this? I'm completely stuck. I tried several times to reset my password (by going into my webmail and typing the reset password button), but it kept coming up with a message saying the account was suspended. I even tried the password recovery link from within the Google Account Dashboard, but it didn't work either.
I know that if I were to receive a letter in the mail stating that my account had been suspended, I could contact the company and ask them to restore my account. I'm actually using the same Gmail address that I use for my work email, which is from my corporate Google Apps account. This Gmail address works fine, so I'm completely stuck.
Re: ? @joey4me wrote: This is exactly what I have done. I sent a email to the Google account help desk asking them to restore my account. Then I received a response telling me to call their customer service team. I called them up, and they told me that I need to send them a copy of the letter that I received in the mail.
