Does Crosshair know tech died?
How do you think Crosshair will react to tech dying?
I think it will be kinda sad because I think Crosshair loves tech and can't even imagine how he will react when he finds out that tech died. I mean he was with tech for so long, but he can't stay with him because of his father's will, and he would have to leave tech. Crosshair has a long history with tech and is kind of like a brother to him, so I think it will be kinda sad for both of them. And I know tech is in heaven now, but I think Crosshair will have a hard time dealing with that.
I'm sorry, but that's a little dramatic. Tech's parents are clearly abusive and controlling, and Crosshair knows it. Tech still loved them, but Crosshair knew he couldn't be with them. He knew he had to go to the house, but he did so anyway, and then he stayed at the house for a couple days. He's not a child anymore, and he's smart enough to understand that they're still going to try to make him stay there. It's not like he had no choice.
He said he couldn't stay at the house, because his father was taking care of the estate. His father was in a nursing home, and was obviously not capable of running a household. But he didn't want to stay there because it was in the house where tech had died, so he stayed with his uncle.
Oh ok, that's good to know. I didn't know about that part.
Why can't Crosshair shoot bad batch?
I own a Crosshair XL7 and I'm having problems with the firing pin assembly breaking.
The only way I can fire a shot is by holding the trigger down so fast that the hammer can't move, otherwise the trigger can't break properly. There is no other way to release the firing pin.
I know it's a pretty small bullet that's why I'm using a .177 caliber. I've also tried cleaning the barrel (with a cleaning kit) but no luck.
It's not like my rifle is dirty, clean and oiled. I've also checked the hammer spring and the bolt has been tightened twice. I've changed the primer, but the problem still persists.
The bolt and action have both been sent to the manufacturer, but they still won't tell me if it's a bad batch or not. Why can't they tell me? They don't tell you on the internet.
If you are going to send them a replacement or parts, do NOT send them the same part back. Do not send them the same parts back and back again, because they will think you are an idiot.
It is very hard to repair parts when they have only been used once. They are very expensive to make too.
I agree. However. When you have had a similar problem in the past and your customer knows they have seen something like this before, then they will tell you that it is normal.
They are being smart by not telling you. If it is a bad batch, then they are not going to want to take any responsibility for it.
However, they need to tell you, whether you can repair it or not. If you fix it and they ask why, they might get a little pissed. If you refuse to fix it, then tell them it will cost them more money, so they will be happy. If they are a good customer, they will have you covered. I think your problem could be caused by a dirty extractor spring. They are cheap and easy to replace.
I have a dirty extractor spring but the problem still persists. Even if the extractor is clean, it still jams, which means it's not a clean problem.
What happened to Wrecker and Crosshair?
They went away, I guess.
No new comics since December.
I think it's a good thing, though. When I started out in 1990, the web was just getting started and I used the Webmaster's View as a way to tell people what was up with the comic. Later, when we got a webmail account at Comic Relief, it was great to be able to communicate directly with people and say "Here's where we are" rather than having to print a newsletter and mail it out.
But I think I should have moved away from the Webmaster's View sometime around 2025, maybe sooner. The main problem was that it was always a snapshot of the state of the comic as I saw it. I didn't have time to come up with new features. I had a friend that was doing the same thing over at MummyPaint. He was adding features constantly and I liked it so much, I adopted it as my own.
Since then, I've been able to implement a lot of stuff. This has allowed me to be more regular in my postings, and it has also allowed me to come up with new features (like the Wrecker and Crosshair return) as well as improve upon old ones (like the new logo).
This has all been good, but there's a downside to all of this. Because I have been so busy, I have had less time for the comic itself. I hope to remedy that as I get the time to do more work on the site.
I've been thinking about doing a contest for Wrecker and Crosshair. There have been suggestions that I host a costume contest on Halloween, or I could even do an Easter egg hunt in the comic. I have thought about this, and I think that a contest would be a lot of fun. If I do this, it will be part of annual event.
I know that Wrecker and Crosshair are not in the mainstream of the comic, but I believe that it can be brought back to life and given a second chance. I can even add new characters and such, like the new characters in the latest issue of the Marvel UK Spider-Man comic. The new characters could become part of the team, or they could replace the old ones. It's up to you!
