What Disney movie is being remake in 2023?

A while ago, Disney CEO Bob Iger told reporters that they were working on a remake of The Lion King.

Since then, there have been no official announcements or news of the movie's production.

Today, the new live-action version of The Lion King is coming to theaters in July 2024. With that in mind, here's a list of all the Disney movies that will be remade in the next few years.

But as Disney expands its reach into so much more of our daily lives, it is also a huge brand with a vast network of interconnected franchises and beloved content from around the globe. From movies to theme parks to digital entertainment and beyond, Disney is everywhere.

One of the world's most recognizable brands, Disney has many properties in many formats. In addition to the Walt Disney Studios, the company owns ESPN, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Disney Consumer Products, and more.

But what Disney movies and TV shows will be released in the year 2024? Here's our updated list of upcoming releases. The Last Duel (May 1). A drama set in 17th-century Japan, The Last Duel centers on a young samurai, Ashikaga Yoshitane, who is challenged to a duel against his lord. With a chance at freedom, victory, and an opportunity to see his beautiful, half-human concubine, the stakes couldn't be higher.

A family of five along with their grandfather set out to fight monsters, spirits, and each other while attempting to figure out their family history. In theaters: April 5. The Falcon and the Snowman (April 25). A British boy discovers the last days of a dead Nazi scientist who may hold the key to a vanished, legendary civilization. In theaters: April 25. A Wrinkle in Time (March 9). Meg Murry embarks on a journey with her mother and friend Susan to save her father from dark forces. In theaters: March 9. Mulan (March 23). An aspiring warrior named Hua Mulan joins the army and is trained as a soldier and a woman.

Everyone is waiting on what Luke Skywalker does when he returns from the dead so far this year. We will find out next year, but we might get a preview with an earlier story arc before Episode 9 is released, either via a new movie or an Episode 9 comic book series. Disney also has already told us that a Star Wars Anthology movie may be coming to theaters soon after Episode 9 comes out.

What Disney movies are flops in 2023?

This is basically where you tell us what Disney movies you think are flops in 2024, so go ahead and give us your theories. And to try and stick with something like this I'll make it a bit easier so the answer will be based on all 7 of their live-action films so far. This probably won't really be any kind of an actual top 10 list so they can be removed once a specific thing becomes a flop as these will be ordered by how much hype they received or how much money they made. Here's how you do it. You put a 1 in front of every film you think could potentially become a Disney flop in 2024, for example: 1) Tomorrowland (2013). 2) Beauty and the Beast (2017). 3) Oz The Great and Powerful (2013). Etc.

You can do this for as many films as you want. There's no rules. So why not go crazy and add 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 Disney movies or movies you thought might become a Disney flop, but were wrong about? I'm pretty sure we're doing this right.
