Where is open proxy settings in Chrome?
(Windows and Linux)
Is there any easy way to view open proxies on Chrome for all websites? It was really annoying that the proxy settings were not one single tab, but for each site. I want it like in Google's Chrome extension. (there is also an open proxy setting tab, but this has no effect). It used to be this way but it seems it has been changed. Now I have a lot of tabs open with different sites and I want to keep only the proxy settings for open proxies on chrome.
I've always used "Proxy" extension, which you mentioned. And then one specific tab in Chrome (you can do it in Firefox too - right click on tab and "Open new window" - it will open a new window), you just check "Show proxy configuration" box.
How do I find my browser proxy settings?
I'm having trouble with this issue on a macbook pro and I found instructions to change the browser proxy settings from here, but in my browser (Google Chrome) I can't find any settings for it at all. What's the easiest way to find my settings? In Chrome, go to Settings -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Connection, click on Change Proxy settings, type your proxies in the Use a proxy server for fields. Then test the proxy by using, for example, this site and see if it loads correctly. The details of that page, if any, will probably be cached so don't count on its contents persisting for long.
