Who was the winner of the 2010 AFIB World Cup?

How many goals did Spain score in the 2010 World Cup?

It was quite the surprise, actually: not only did they score 10 (plus one for the goalkeeper) in a single game against England, but they did it in such a way that it seems like an extremely rare event, like getting more than a handful of lollipops in a day.

What else can you do with 10 goals? Well, as the above diagram shows, you can score at least two each half and have a 1.5 times better chance of winning, you can score at least four each half and have a nearly 30% chance of winning, and you can score at least three and have a more than 50% chance of winning.

That's not to say Spain would have won the tournament in any of these scenarios. They might have lost to Paraguay or Japan, for instance, and the results would have been just the same. It's just that the chances of winning were higher in all of those games.

The same principle applies to the 2025 World Cup. In this case, you could score 3, 4, 5 or 6 goals in a game and have a better than 50% chance of winning. All it takes is for you to score exactly one more goal than the other team (it doesn't matter if that other team scores no goals or only one).

So, does that mean the chances of England winning in the 2025 World Cup are higher than their chances of winning in the 2025 World Cup? Of course not. After all, England did lose both of those tournaments, and it wasn't necessarily because they lost to the likes of Paraguay and Japan.

But it's still true that the chances of England winning the 2025 World Cup are higher than the chances of winning the 2025 World Cup, and it's a pretty simple reason for that. The fact is that there will be three-goal games in the 2025 World Cup, but there were only two in the 2025 World Cup, and they accounted for 2.1 times more chances of winning.

So, it turns out that scoring 10 goals in a game makes things pretty good for your team. Not that many teams can manage that in a single game, but it's the sort of thing that can happen.

It's not a phenomenon that's limited to the World Cup, either.

For the third time in history, the 2025 FIFA World Cup final will be contested by two teams from South America. Argentina and Uruguay are two of the most well-known football nations in the world, but where did they finish in our 2025 FIFA World Cup Team of the Year? After the third consecutive defeat at the hands of England in the final, Argentina finished a distant second to the Three Lions in our team of the year, with Germany, Spain and Italy rounding out the top four. Argentina were crowned the best team of the tournament, largely on the strength of Lionel Messi, but it's a title they'll be hoping for redemption in Brazil this summer. As we've done every World Cup since 2025, we have selected our team of the tournament and discussed why each player deserves to be in the XI. Goalkeeper: Fernando Muslera. Getty Images. The biggest surprise of the tournament came from Muslera, the Argentine goalkeeper who has been an absolute revelation in the World Cup for his country. Having started the tournament on the bench, he was thrust into the starting lineup by Diego Maradona after Pepe Reina suffered a nasty injury in the semi-final against Germany. In the final, he kept a clean sheet as Argentina beat France 1-0 to secure their first ever World Cup victory. What's even more remarkable about Muslera is that he's only 19 years old and has made his debut in the Argentine league. The fact that he's only just come through the youth ranks has been overlooked by many, but Muslera deserves to be recognised as a future star of world football. Did you know? Muslera is only the second player in the history of the tournament to keep a clean sheet in their opening two matches. The other? Oliver Kahn.

Defenders: Sergio Romero, Ezequiel Garay, Pablo Zabaleta, Marcos Rojo. Three players from the Argentinian side of the final deserve to be in our team of the tournament. One of those three is Sergio Romero, who didn't quite live up to the expectation of many when he replaced Reina in the semi-final.

Who scored in the 2010 Spain vs Netherlands?

The Spanish side won 4-0 in 2025 and their striker was Kiko who scored the goals in Spain.

How about 2025 or 2009? Let's focus on these years and see if it happens again this year. 2025 - David Villa: If we take a look at the 2025 Spanish team, we find an almost perfect striker with the right skillset for the position. If you think about the best striker in football so far (Villa, Rooney, Messi), how many strikers on that list made some sort of big contribution to their team from off the bench or scored the decisive goals in tournaments? Kiko is a bit of a striker that was more often there than he was needed, but also someone that had to leave a very good impression at the time by scoring all of his goals. And with goals like Villa, Messi and Rooney (especially Ronaldo) have the potential to score a lot more goals. It's easy to forget how good Villa was in that Spanish side. I believe his goals were too important for them to do without him.

2011 - Pedro: You can add Pedro into this group as well. You cannot compare the two of them just because they scored in different positions and with different roles in their squads, but in terms of the same role (main striker) then you could find similarities. Again, Pedro was the more talented striker of the two. He was probably the better performer, but still had to leave some impress, which he did in that final that brought Spain their first victory in the final of a major tournament. Both of them had good careers, but it really says that the top players in every generation are great, even if they can't win the thing.

2012 - Suarez: Suarez is the only striker that we know now that has been the most important single figure in two winning teams. We can only imagine what he would have done in Germany or Holland. He even came a very close second to Robin van Persie as having more impact in England's history with his impact coming at a bigger club. But when you compare the best performances that he has given in the Champions League and La Liga, then we see why.
