Why did my Netflix account get deleted?

I recently bought two Roku players that I use for viewing Netflix and Amazon Prime video and downloading apps for my devices.

The first player got reset when it was taken in for repair (Roku player 3rd gen). It was working fine, but I did this thing called resizing it and now it won't let me use it anymore. When I attempt to use the new profile it says something along the lines of "Profile cannot be used with this device, try the Roku account recovery tool". I have no recollection of doing this, nor do I have the tool on hand at the moment.

I bought the Rokus to take movies and shows to my cabin in the mountains. The third model they were selling has the same internal setup and so is compatible. The only difference is the price. PM me if you want them and I will hook you up with an awesome deal.

There was a time when buying a streaming player wasn't just a purchase. When there were no plans, no apps or channels (no channels, actually), and the Roku was the cheapest and coolest thing ever.

That was before I learned about streaming services, which I started in August 2024. You can stream over-the-air TV from local broadcast stations, or via cable providers like Verizon FiOS and Frontier, or by buying the local-sports package in your area, or even get access to broadcast networks online from companies like Hulu and YouTube Red.

For a long time, one of my primary TV/Internet habits had been binge-watching and downloading videos online to play whenever and wherever. Sometimes I rented movies, sometimes I bought them or they might just appear as a gift for no particular reason. But now, I'm also using them as a way to consume the TV shows I would've never watched otherwise.

The latest and greatest from Netflix, Amazon, HBO Go and several other streaming services come from Amazon Video on Roku, Apple TV 4K, Fire TV and Smart TVs made by Roku and Smart TV makers like Sharp, Hisense, Onkyo, Sony and Vizio, to name a few. The newer the device, the more likely it's got native content, and it gets easier to get apps, too. At least, for the most part.

I'm getting a "Invalid sign-in attempt" error when I try to log in and this started happening recently. I checked online and noticed that someone from Pakistan had used my email address and password to try to use Netflix. How can I fix it?

We're sorry to hear this, there could be a number of reasons for this: Someone else was already logged into your account at the same time as you, but the session was canceled. You may be a victim of a hack or of a stolen laptop/tablet.

My girlfriend and I have a streaming account called Netflix and there was an incident between us in which I thought it was canceled.82 for the "Netflix-On-Premises Streaming" and a few days before, I went and bought some shows but cancelled them right after.82 because she thinks that maybe I did not cancel my account on time so she is currently charging my credit card every night and it says that the amount is still being charged. Should I be mad at her? Or shouldn't she be able to charge me back? And if I charge her back, what should I ask her to do?

Re: ? It's easy to check if it is still charging your card, look for charges you didn't make and see if Netflix is one of them. It's not illegal to use an account if they are already using it, although it is probably less than legit if the other person has no idea it's being charged every night.

If Netflix is still charging your card, it may be hard to get it stopped unless you pay it every single time it says it's going to (you'll have to get your CC guy involved).
