How do I find out my proxy server address?
I have a proxy server I want to use for both HTTP and HTTPS.
The instructions in the config file are not clear about how I find out the address for the proxy server. How do I do it?
You can find the proxy server address in the proxy settings in your browser. On the URL bar, you'll see something like "proxy server". This is the address of your proxy server.
If you want to use the address as a variable in the config file, you can also use the variable %HTTPPROXY% to get the proxy server address. The full list of environment variables can be found here.
How to find proxy server address command prompt?
How can I find the proxy address of my internet explorer in command prompt?
I have some proxies there, I want to find out which is that. Is it possible using command prompt? or is there any software I can use? Answer Wiki.e. The program wget can be used to download a site, and you can use the -R option with it to save the results to a file on the local machine. This way you can access the web page from the local machine, and view it as you would normally view any webpage.
It would be advisable to view the proxy list on the proxy server to confirm that it is indeed a legitimate proxy server.
