What is the most kid friendly Disney movie?
If you're looking for a family-friendly Disney movie that is sure to please most kids of any age, here's your answer: the 1992 animated feature The Lion King.
What is 'kid friendly' anyway? It's a subjective standard; what's suitable one moment might be a turnoff for someone else the next. If that bothers you, don't use the term as it's often misapplied to imply that the movie won't engage adults or that there won't be any real issues.
If I'm going to see one Disney animated film this year (and why wouldn't you?), I plan to take the entire family. After all, when you get three young children into a theater, they take over. You've either got to accept it and put aside your normal behavior or you end up with a battle of the children, one that you may not be able to control. The Lion King is my choice for that reason.
But what is the Kid Friendly rating in my opinion. Well, I believe that the movie deserves five stars as a whole. For most kids, there is nothing in the film that will be offensive or too hard for them. It has humor and fantasy elements. There are characters and storylines kids can empathize with and a few action moments kids can enjoy. The Lion King is a Disney film that any kid can see on a date night out or during a visit to the movies.
So why not read what some of the kids who had the chance to see it had to say. This review contains spoilers.
Betsy Bird. In my experience, Disney movies that kids love are about loyalty, strength, courage, and selflessness. With animated film like The Lion King, these qualities come more from the voice actors, than from the animated itself.
You know this is probably just me talking, but every time I hear a vocal character that's especially sweet, it feels like a bonus added to the emotional power of the character as I watch the movie with someone else.
What is the best movie for ten year olds?
My cousin is ten, and I would like to know what should be her top-5
He probably doesn't have a chance of reading this thread (he probably isn't logged in atm), but I wanted to give it a shot. He's really good, very well-read for his age, and is a creative genius. He wrote 2 books, plays music (guitar and bass), writes poetry, plays video games, draws and has a big imagination. I've even seen him write and draw while playing Magic the Gathering, so he's really into what he does (well, almost everything he does ).
I know, right? He's so smart. For a long time, I would just tell him "You're amazing" or "I amazed at your achievements" and he'd blurt out in response something like: "You're just saying that because you like me" or "I don't know what you're talking about! But lately, he's been doing things like: "That is pretty cool! It's cool to see how many people appreciate it!" Anyway, this kid is really smart, especially in school. But, the reason why I'm mentioning all this is because I want a top 5 of movies, things, music, etc., that he might enjoy when he's a little bit older (and he loves Disney, so I was wondering if there's anything there.
) Pocahontas, because he loves Disney, I think.) Spider-Man3.) Toy Story 4) The Lion King5.) Dune6.) Star Wars (it's his favourite movie)7.) Toy Story 8) Star Trek 9) Jumanji
And by the way, he actually saw the original Star Wars with me last summer (when it came out on TV, haha) and he went "Wow! ? My cousin is ten, and I would like to know what should be her top-5. What are some good movies to watch on Netflix for 11 year olds?
There are a lot of Netflix suggestions for older teens and adults, but are there any good kids movies to watch on Netflix?
Good kids movies on Netflix is a difficult question. Movies for tweens are often aimed at a slightly older audience. The question then is what age range do you consider "kids"? Do you want them to have a "fun" experience or do you want them to be exposed to a variety of characters and experiences?
Disney. The Princess Diaries (Directed by Sharon Maguire). The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (Directed by John H. Johnson) The Princess Diaries 3: The Royal School-Trip (Directed by John H.
