VPNs are a great way to watch Netflix, but they can also be very expensive. So, if you're going to spend money on a VPN, you might as well use a service that will save you money in the long run.
That's why we've put together this guide to show you whether you can use ExpressVPN to watch Netflix in the US. If you can, you'll be able to watch the US Netflix library, which is a great thing. However, if you're trying to watch the US Netflix library from a different country, you'll be in for a bit of a headache.
In this guide, we'll look at the steps you'll need to take to watch the US Netflix library, and we'll tell you whether you can use ExpressVPN to do it. First, though, let's take a look at what ExpressVPN is. What is ExpressVPN? ExpressVPN is a VPN service that's been around for a few years now. It was founded in 2022 and was bought by NordVPN in 2022.
The service offers a ton of different features, including: 5 simultaneous connections. 30-day money back guarantee. 24/7 customer support. Torrenting support. Kill switch. Private browsing. Location-based DNS. And much more. ExpressVPN is a popular choice for VPN users because of its great service and because it's so affordable. It's also one of the best VPN services for watching Netflix.
However, you should know that it's not the cheapest VPN service. ExpressVPN is one of the most expensive options out there, and it's still very affordable. But if you're looking to save money, you'll need to look elsewhere.
Does ExpressVPN work with Netflix?
Partnership allows ExpressVPN's customers to access Netflix from the UK on ExpressVPN's US and Canada servers. Netflix also works in border-free countries around the world of Vietnam, the Netherlands, Chile, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. However, there are many countries in the world that don't currently allow Netflix to transit over servers in the US and Canada. In those countries, you can still access a lot of similar content through other VPNs, and many of them work with Netflix, as long as you make sure that you set the VPN server locations to a region that allows you to access Netflix. Is ExpressVPN faster than regular VPNs? Generally speaking, using a VPN to evade geo-blocks is pointless if it's slower than the internet in the country you're streaming from. A lot of VPNs, even the best ones, top out at speeds of below 500 kbps.
ExpressVPN is different. You won't get below 300 kbps, and the relatively expensive plans will provide speeds of up to 2 GB per day. Make sure you're not looking at the speeds claims of sellers on the cheaper-than-Amazon ExpressVPN products.
Is ExpressVPN free? ExpressVPN doesn't offer a free trial or free 7-day trial for the standard, unmetered plans. The free features include a small number of connections and a good-sized free money-back guarantee. The VPN service did recently introduce a 31-day money-back guarantee, however, and this comes with a few restrictions. The 32 GB monthly data limit only applies for the main cable plans. Even the most expensive ones only come with a set 30 GB of monthly data. If you want to use that for anything other than browsing, you need to upgrade to another plan.
However, there are still unlimited bandwidth - and also data caps and a potential speed degradation - with the ExpressVPN Life plan. Is ExpressVPN secure? ExpressVPN's apps are mostly easy to navigate. They're easy to use, with a hidden and user-friendly console, and even some in-app tutorials on the main page.
You get connection security, plus 256-bit AES encryption and military-grade Point-to-Point Encryption as standard.

Can I really use a VPN to tunnel data through a VPN? What goes where in most VPN connections? When connecting to another computer, we need to set up a tunnel between our computer and the person's computer. We then need to split up the data into the various parts (tunnels) that we send and receive.
This is because we're sending all of our personal information, as well as the company's information, and so need to have three separate parts in our VPN connection. This is why people often get suspicious when they see 'Hack the VPN' or 'stealth VPN' in their router. These are usually called 'Split Tunnel' VPNs, but most people just think that they are impossible.
This is not much different from what we are doing with the service we offer with ExpressVPN. We're using a VPN tunnel to increase our speed, all while keeping our personal information safe from prying eyes.

When I first heard about ExpressVPN I was excited to try it out. I'm a pretty avid movie watcher and having an easy way to access my favorite streaming services is an absolute must in my car and my dorm rooms.
I had heard the ExpressVPN app is a little tricky to set up on iOS (anyone who has tried it knows what I'm talking about), so I was optimistic that it would work with Netflix. I'll be the first to admit I don't have a true iPhone, so I'll be testing the app on my iPad.
Before starting, I did a quick Google search to see if anyone had tried this out and I found a couple of sites that had tried to connect to Netflix on ExpressVPN, but they were a little out of date. I did find some minor issues though. First, my iPad was sending Netflix more data than I would usually, but I'm not 100% sure why. I'm thinking it's because Netflix was attempting to connect to a server in the UK or Ireland.
I'm not sure how much data it would actually be sending to Netflix, but I would assume it's not much.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, has there been any changes to their VPN service Thanks for any help! I'm experiencing this too. I also have a client in the UK, and it works perfectly.
I was able to get it working again, by going to the Netflix site and telling them it was a connection issue, then it connected to the VPN again. I didn't have to reboot the VPN though, just went to the Netflix site and it worked again.
