What am I lacking if my nails are weak?

I want to get my nails healthy and strong. I am currently using Nails Inc - Nail Strength gel which is 4.79, but it doesn't last long enough for me. I don't want to spend loads of money on expensive treatments, I just want something that will last longer, but I also don't want anything too expensive as I don't have a lot of money at the moment.
Any help would be great, I'm new to this forum and don't know anyone here. Thank you for your help in advance! You might want to look at using a cuticle stick for a bit at a time instead of the gel. It will give you the gel experience for less money. I used to use the gel religiously, but recently switched to cuticle sticks because the gel only lasted me 10 days.
Thanks so much for your advice. I'm a bit unsure of what to use though. What do you mean by using cuticle sticks? Do they replace the gel, or do you mean they are used as a supplement to it? Because if they are for replacement, I don't know how they'd work as I can only use the gel twice a week, whereas I could use a stick once a week. I have a feeling they're just as expensive as the gel, but I don't have a choice of where to buy them, as I don't know anyone here.
