Is TiviMate the best IPTV player?

I haven't owned an IPTV box in a very long time, but recently found TiviMate that I might get hooked.

It seems to be pretty inexpensive for the features it has (although I have no idea how its quality is compared to other products of its type). Has anyone tried this out yet? Is it worth purchasing or is there something out there for the price? Thanks!

Re: TiviMate the best IPTV player? It is quite capable. I have had it for a few months now. You may want to check the software that was included and if it has a good IP based DVR option. If so, you will be set. We are happy with Tivimate. I used to have IPTV for years and would never use Tivimate. Now, when I am at work, I get away from Tivimate because it is much more intuitive and doesn't require me to be glued to it.

My wife likes my cable modem. She gets it via wifi from her laptop so she can control the cable modem etc. I'd prefer if my TV could do something like that though since its going to save on a lot of money.

As for Tivimate, ive read plenty of reviews online (including this one) and they said it comes with excellent software. I haven't tried it, but its cheap enough i'd give it a shot.

Its like this. I want someone on cable services, not just the cable channel itself but I want access to all of the other things cable provides.so if I have Tivimate, why would I use my htpc for anything else? If cable does it for me, what more does my tivo give me? As far as my own experience, Tivimate works great, I was really impressed with it.
