How do I enable Touch VPN in Chrome?

I want to enable Touch VPN in Chrome.

I've installed the package "touch-vpn-client-chrome", which installed Touch VPN client successfully. Then I checked the config file using vim /usr/local/touch-vpn-client/config/touch-vpn-client.ini, there is a parameter "touchvpnenabled" in the config file. So, I want to enable Touch VPN on Chrome. How to do that? I can't find any help on Google.

Thanks. I have the same question and I have found a solution for it. Download the TouchVPN Client for Chrome from. Go to the directory where you downloaded the extension, locate the config.json file (the file will be called config.json in your installation) and add to the json a key called "touchvpnenabled": true. Save the file and restart the app.

With this method you will have to restart the app every time you change the configuration, but it will work as soon as you restart Chrome.

The thing is that this extension intercepts all DNS requests and forwards them to a server of their choice. It looks like they could be a proxy which could be used by anyone. Am I right or am I missing something?
That's not what the icon in the top right corner says: "Touch VPN - No proxy". You can find a lot of these extensions on extensions.google.com and even more on the Chrome Web Store. They are usually free, but of course there are some that are not.
