How do I get a proxy server address for my PS4?

I have done all the things that are supposed to be done.

I've reset the network connection, I've changed the DNS to the correct IP address of my PS4, I've updated the system menu, etc. When I try to launch XBMC I'm greeted by the error, "Connection to remote server failed. Error 10: The requested URL returned error: 10".

It's a new problem since yesterday and as of now, the only thing that is working for me is when I'm at home. I don't know what I did yesterday but I guess my internet provider didn't fix the issue. As of now, it's not working for me. I tried reinstalling and it still doesn't work.

Sorry, I meant PS3/4. I guess that is the issue. I haven't played with this PS3 or PS4 yet, but am planning on playing on both. I just thought that maybe the PS4 wasn't installed and that is why I asked about getting the proxy settings from the PS4.

I think you need to make sure that you installed the PS4 software by disc or through a USB. If you installed the PS4 software through USB, then you might want to uninstall the application and install it again by disc.

I found that if I had it installed by disc, I could set the settings, like proxy, DNS and IP, in the network tab and it worked fine. However, once I put it back to the PS4 software by USB, all settings were lost and I couldn't set them again.

If I had it installed by disc, the PS4 automatically connects to the internet to download the latest version of PS4 software. It also automatically set the proxy, DNS and IP address. It seems that the software installed by disc works with the new system better than the software installed by USB.

If you have it installed by disc, it should already be set. Let me know if you have any problems after installing it.
