How do I restore my iPhone after failed 10 restriction passcode attempts?
I am pretty upset that I am not able to access my iPhone. Since I made a call, my screen turned red and then when I tried to turn it off my phone is troubling and even refuses to turn it off. I have been trying my hands on for the past hour, however, I am just stuck.
What are your suggestions? I am currently using iPhone 4s on iOS 8. Please help me out.
I have tried at least 30 times on my iPhone without luck. After each time I unlocked the phone and go to Troubleshoot I get.
Last Modified: 06-23-2016. Attempt #1 - Turning off phone and then turning back on working fine, not turning red even though problems showed. If it turns red, let it turn off to try to restart again? Apple will collect details of your device and improve its performance.
Attempt #5 - I changed my Touch ID fingerprint, since the first two attempts did not work, and this one DID work, however, I had to learn how to do it. So, I am not sure what else is there to mess up, unless it could be my Passcode. Still waiting for that to happen.
Attempt #6 - Now since nothing is working, I tried to go to sleep mode for a few hours. To my surprise, I could not even do that, the red screen showed again and after that, I am not sure how to turn it off.
Attempt #7- I just tried turning my iPhone off the second time, the red message showed up and when I tried to put it off a second time, it actually did put my iPhone off twice.

How to reset my iPhone if I forgot my restrictions passcode?
Hi, I accidentally set a Restrictions passcode on my iPhone SE. I forgot it so now I can't unlock my iPhone. I tried to use the option to get it to "forget the passcode" but it won't. I tried to turn it off and then back on but it still doesn't work. How do I fix this?
If I don't know the Restrictions passcode, is there a way to reset the phone? If there is, how would I do that? Thanks for the help! You can't. You either know the Restrictions passcode, or you can't.
If you don't know the Restrictions passcode, then you either have the phone in Find My Phone, or you haven't. If you have it in Find My Phone, you can either turn off Find My Phone, or you can erase the phone. You can't erase the phone unless you know the Restrictions passcode.
If you don't have it in Find My Phone, then it's either locked in some other way, or it's on some other person's phone. You can't erase that phone either unless you know the Restrictions passcode.
If you turn off Find My Phone, you can call your carrier and they'll wipe it, but you'll lose any data on it.
