How to access onion sites?

Hi all, I have a problem with accessing onion sites.

It has been a huge problem for me since many days. For most of the onion sites I cannot access its pages and it says the sites are blocked. I don't know where to start from and what should I do to get this fixed? Can anyone please tell me how to access these onion websites? My VPN software does not support them.

Is it safe to browse onion?

Is it safe to browse the onion network? Can a user be sure that he is browsing anonymously? Onion is a service that allows its users to browse the web without revealing their real IP address. The service creates a virtual IP address, which looks like a real one, and redirects the user's traffic to it. Then the user's real IP address is hidden from the web server.

What is onion? Let's say we are searching for some information on a website. We click on a link and the content of the page appears in our browser. But what if the website were visiting was sending all the traffic to another server? What if this server had a hidden page with our personal data?

For example, the website might have a "search by name" feature, where it returns a list of all people that have that name. If you were searching for your name, then the website could return a list of all your contacts. It could even return a list of all your acquaintances that are also named "Alexa", "Steve", etc.

That's why it is important to always check the source of the website you are visiting. If the site is not legitimate, then it's possible that it is sending all your traffic to another server.

How to browse onion. There are different ways to browse the onion network. Most of them involve Tor, an anonymity software that hides your real IP address, and makes it impossible to trace the origin of your traffic.

In short, your connection to the onion network will look like this: When you browse onion sites, you'll need to use an extension such as the Onion Browser or the Tor Browser. In the early aughts, one of our favourite websites became a source of both fear and frustration.

It was a website which people loved to hate - even back then I think there were lots of questions being asked like: is it real? Couldn't we at least be more original? How's my name supposed to sound on your search list? There's this thing called revenge porn, which I'm pretty sure most people haven't heard of, so maybe that thing you were talking about. I never heard about revenge porn until that time and it was scary as fuck. As much as I hate revenge porn and I don't care what happens to the perpetrator, or even if she or he winds up dead, I think the idea of revenge porn is a useful one. For it serves as an illustration of how easy it is to cause harm to others with digital technology. It serves as a kind of cautionary tale for the whole of the internet and for us as the users and publishers of that space. What happens when some of us get angry with a partner, but do not make their experience of being photographed very hard? What if it doesn't take anything to break off the friendship? If I can ruin her by taking one picture, why can't others?

Because you see, revenge porn is a very real thing, or at least one thing that definitely exists (and some, perhaps some others things). It's one type of cyberviolence, a word I've written about a few times now. (There are also real violence and virtual violence, and many of us have learned how those work out.)
