If Norton says you are infected with a Trojan horse virus I would first think there is a problem on the server side. That could be possible if it says it is unable to connect to the web site or it is unable to find a suitable Web Site Page to serve. To get around this problem first delete the Norton Antispyware software and reboot, try to reconnect. In addition if Kaspersky Software has been used to clean your system it will try to register some keys you may not want, if such happens it will likely give you trouble reconnecting so disable all keys for Kaspersky. If all fails try resetting the network settings: Click Start, run, then type net, then press ENTER.

Next click on: Change adapter settings. Next choose: Advertise, Autodetect, and Automatic (for Manual, do not check this box). Select: Disable network location (or enable again, I usually recommend you leave this as it was before). Then press OK. Restart your computer, then follow any instructions to install a program that asks you to activate something.
