Is it safe to use NoRoot Firewall?

Is there a free firewall for Android?

I've got an Android 2.

After some research, I found out that the Personal Firewall is not that powerful and it can't really block most malicious activities like it's listed on their site.

For those of you who use your tablet as a security device, I would love to know if you've found a free firewall that you've been using or if you know of any good programs out there that will help me protect my tablet from prying eyes. I'd also love to know what type of protection you've implemented in your tablet.

Re: ? The best thing I have found so far is the Personal Firewall for Android from MyWi.e. It is similar to Windows Firewall on a desktop, but it does everything for you. My experience with it was great. It blocked all the malware, pop ups, spyware, and viruses I ran into while browsing. When I tried the AntiVirus program that came with it, it blocked everything including the malware, pop ups, spyware, and viruses. Also, it had a nice application called "My Clean" that came with it. That cleaned my browser cache, cookies, history, bookmarks, and everything. I installed it on my wife's phone and it worked great. So far, I haven't had any issues with it.

You do not have to pay for it. When you install it, you get a free three day trial. If you like it, you can go to the Market and download it for free. It doesn't cost anything and you have to do nothing for it to work.

If you decide to download it, you can tell it to work for one month or a year. You are not locked into anything, and it doesn't cost anything.

I'm sorry, I missed your first post. You said the best way to protect your tablet is to use anti-virus program. The reason I asked was because I used to use the Panda Internet Security program and I didn't have any problems with it. I never found it to be a great program, but I did use it a lot. It seemed to work fine. But, I did have a couple of problems with it.

What is the no route firewall app?

If you are having issues with your no route errors please make sure your router and/or modem is operating correctly.

If your router has failed to communicate with the modem then the modem will not be able to report the current Internet connection status to your router. You will also need to check that your modem is on and that it can be reached by your router.

Note: The IP addresses provided in the app may be different from the ones on your router. The app does not update the device but reports its location once it receives the correct network settings from the router, the modem and the IP address of the router. This app is a replacement for iptables -L output. The output from iptables does not provide the correct DNS servers while our app will always do so.
