How to get no lag VPN to work?
I'm running a VPN on a ubuntu machine, however, whenever I run the program it starts lagging.
I've tried several programs including OpenVPN and OpenConnect, but still no luck.
I've seen plenty of solutions such as disabling network-manager etc, but as I said, I've tried them and they don't work. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to get the program to not lag. I'm running my VPN on a VPS, which is quite old and has no more than 1.5GB of RAM.
Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not trying to hide my location, or anything like that. I'm using this for a school project, and I'd like to use my VPN to access an IP that's on our school network. So when I have it open, all I'm doing is accessing our school's network, no matter where I am.
In my experience, I have had success with OpenVPN. The thing you need to do is to set up two VPN connections. One for the local network, and one for your VPN.
The best way to configure both of these connections is using the server.conf file, found here.
The trick is to use two sections of this file, one for the local network and one for the VPN. I'll give you an example of this below.
Local-network-lan. Port 1194. Proto udp. Dev tap. Ca ca.crt cert client.crt key client.key dh2048.pem server 10.0 255.0
Ifconfig-pool-persist ipp.txt push "redirect-gateway def1". Pull "redirect-gateway def1". Server-vpn. Dev tun
Can no lag VPN get you banned?
A lot of people are concerned that using a VPN will get them banned from accessing a website. However, this is not true. A VPN connection will not get you banned in the same way that installing any software on your computer will not get you banned.
The only way a VPN connection could get you banned is if you are connecting to a website that is considered illegal, or you are connecting to a website where you are breaking the rules. It is also important to note that even if you are accessing a website that you know is illegal, it doesn't mean that you should get in trouble. If you are on a public network, then there is no way to know for sure that what you are doing is legal.
Even if you are using a VPN connection, you can still access a website that you know is illegal. Therefore, it is best to use a VPN connection for the privacy and security reasons that it provides.
How to install a VPN connection on Windows. If you are using Windows, there are many ways to install a VPN connection. You can use the built-in VPN connection or you can download a separate VPN software. In either case, you need to start by finding a VPN provider that you want to use.
Some of the best VPN providers are NordVPN, ExpressVPN, and Private Internet Access. You can easily find out if a VPN provider is trustworthy and if they are safe to use by checking out their reviews on sites like Amazon, and Google.
After you have found a VPN provider, it is important to make sure that you select the right one. There are so many VPN providers that it can be hard to figure out which one is the best.
When choosing a VPN provider, you should also consider the following: The server location. Make sure that your VPN provider has servers in a lot of countries around the world. This will help you get a better connection while you are accessing a website from a different country.
The server speed. Choose a VPN provider that has fast servers. Fast servers will allow you to get an excellent VPN connection while you are browsing the web.
The privacy policy. Make sure that you read the privacy policy of your VPN provider.
After you have decided on a VPN provider, you can now install the VPN software on your computer.
