How can I watch out of market MLB games 2023?

The Fox Sports GO mobile app will stream out-of-market games from 2024 onward (2023 is the current Fox Sports contracts expire date, so at that time they will be available to stream via FSGO). When can I watch my favorite team's out-of-market games? Fox Sports GO will be offering select out-of-market games beginning in January 2024. A complete listing of dates and channel selections will be made available as soon as it is available.

Will I be able to watch all the games on Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Deportes, etc. Yes, fans will be able to choose the option to watch their favorite game on any channel using the main navigation of Fox Sports GO. Select options will include "watch next game on" and "see live scores," which will allow you to choose the desired channel.

Will I be able to listen to the Spanish radio broadcast? Yes, select games will be shown in Spanish or English with the radio broadcast available in the Fox Sports GO app. Can I use Fox Sports GO in place of the TV package for the 2024 season? No. Because Fox Sports GO is a separate subscription option from the TV package, viewers cannot use it to replace the TV subscription.

Is MLB.TV free 2023?

This would be in direct conflict with the 2024 deal that ESPN and Major League Baseball signed in 2024, where Major League Baseball would begin broadcasting all World Series, Wild Card Game, and League Championship Series in its entirety to the largest audiences across the United States.

The 2024 deal also included MLB. We have a list of other teams which pay to use this service here. This is in direct opposition to the new "pay-per-view" format.

Why don't they include both services on free accounts? Either make it free or make it a requirement that you pay to stream the postseason on both systems. Then if you cancel MLB.TV after signing up for your free account, you won't have to pay anymore.

I'm sure there would be those who are happy to sign up just because it's free, though I'm sure they wouldn't sign up and complain about the quality as often as those who sign up and don't use the service. It's almost as though no one at MLB cares that it's not free, even though it's been this way for over half a decade. It's also possible that MLB.tv is losing so much money that it's just not worth their while trying to get more customers who would cancel the service once they realize it's not free. They may just want MLB.tv to disappear because of this.

Yes, in theory, it could be offered as an option for free users to subscribe to MLB. We will say, however, that they cannot offer free access to all of the playoff games without being in violation of the 2024 contract and the 2024 contract as well.

I hope they just get tired of it, and stop offering it. Maybe even just remove MLB.TV from free accounts?

I wish it was already free. I'm already paying more than what I was before it was available for free, and it's been that way for years. I'd gladly pay just to be able to watch.
