Does Norton offer technical support?
To help protect your computer and ensure that your Norton product continues to provide the best possible service, this warranty is only valid if you register the product with us (Norton's Online Registration Form) within 365 days of purchase. If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the full amount of the product's purchase price.
If you registered your product online with Norton, the registration confirmation page will include a link for you to click. This link will verify your registered product and activate your 90-day registered product warranty. If you do not complete this verification process and enter your Norton support code, the registered product warranty may be voided.
What's a support code? When you registered your product online with Norton, you received a support code in an email from Norton. While this support code does not guarantee full access to technical support, it enables our technical support staff to remotely check to make sure that your registered product is fully protected.
Technical support is available on Norton's website. When using the Technical Support site, there is a support code displayed to verify that you are logged into your customer account.
Who does the product warranty protect? Under the product warranty, when a warranty claim is submitted, only you can claim compensation. The product warranty covers normal use of your product (the products for which you purchased the Norton product), and in case of damage and/or failure, excludes damages caused by intentional damage to your product, or products of like nature that you brought onto your property, or damage or destruction of your product by third party. In the event of the foregoing, you shall return the product to us within 10 days of receiving your replacement product, along with proof that the damage occurred and that the damaged product is not covered under the product warranty, as verified by our technical support team. Can the product warranty cover software upgrades or add-ons? Yes, the product warranty extends to software upgrades and add-ons. To use these add-ons, you'll need to make sure they are compatible with your Norton product, and that you register them at You must also register your add-on separately by sending the details of your add-on to info@norton.
How do I contact Norton Member Services and Support?
I have a Windows 10 Home computer that recently received a notification that it is "inaccurate" on the latest version of Windows 10, which is the 19H1 version.
This is a bit of an outlier in my experience. In the past (maybe 12 or more years ago), I only had to deal with one or two instances where Windows 10 updates broke something on my computer.
My concern is that I want to contact Norton to report that this version of Windows 10 has been uninstalled from the computer, and for them to put me back on the latest update version. How do I do that? Note: I have tried to reach out to Norton's Technical Support line multiple times over the past two days with no success. When trying to contact technical support using a couple different methods such as chat, calling, emailing, or sending a ticket via the Web - my last attempt was an error message of "This number has been disconnected or is busy." How can I speak to someone at Norton?
I was a customer of Norton 360 and I received an email that they needed to remove Norton 360 from my computer.
This is because I have installed Avast internet security 2025. At the same time, I installed the Internet Security 2025 and it is compatible with Avast. Can someone help with this. Recently used norton 360, but after trying to restart my computer, the whole desktop disappeared. After a reboot it will load everything as normal but the desktop is gone. I still have all my programs and files on my desktop as well as my windows folder. When I start up to try to log in normally and use windows normally to make sure my files are safe I end up getting kicked back to the logon screen. Any help is appreciated Thanks!
Desktop disappears when I use norton 360. What version of Windows are you using? What is the operating system and architecture for your machine? Have you tried removing and reinstalling/re-registering your product? Have you tried removing Norton360 and attempting to log in normally? If you still have access to your desktop, go to Start -> Control Panel. Double click on "System" and click on "View installed updates". This will take you to the Windows Update control panel. Remove any prior Microsoft or Norton updates and try booting normally. If this still doesn't work, use this link ( ) to try and repair your operating system.
If you have the serial number, try calling your tech support provider. They should be able to look up your serial number in their database to confirm what you are referring to.
