Now, my question is: is Magic Link more secure than password? If so, how it is more secure? I want to know in detail please.

Re: Is Magic Link better than password? It is indeed far more secure. It just encrypts the data, as opposed to requiring that you memorize or type a password. You just set up the device to remember your PIN, unlock your phone and enter it automatically.

The idea behind Magic Link is that it does not require passwords - the owner is the one who has the password and is able to unlock the device, and that's a much more secure way to do things than a PIN or a simple alphanumeric password. That said, when were planning for Magic Link, there was no way to do more secure encryption than the 128-bit AES encryption that is already supported by Android - we simply couldn't add stronger encryption methods in time for v1.0 release.

You should not use the App Link URL on your website, but you should create a custom URL Scheme with the app that should be installed on your iphone to open a specific page within your website when that app is installed. In your example of safari on your iphone, when you go to this webpage, it will open a link in safari with the given URL scheme that links to the site.

Magic link is a password reset method provided by many sites. It usually has a "verify code" or "reset link" functionality. These are both "one time passwords" used to recover forgotten user accounts. One time passwords are used when a user's existing password will not work anymore, because:
