Is ParseHub really free?

I'm currently in the process of setting up a website that will be used for our team to host projects and collaborate on them.

I'm looking at Parse as a good solution for our backend since it's reasonably free, and has a ton of features.

However, Parse's documentation is very sparse, and I can't find anything that answers the question "is Parse free or not?". The Parse website has an email address that says: Dear Developer, We're excited that you're interested in using Parse! You'll be able to get started by clicking here. Once you have an account, you can start using Parse. For any questions or concerns, please contact support@parse.com.

It's not clear to me what "We're excited that you're interested in using Parse!" means. , or is it like a donation? Is ParseHub truly a non-profit, or is it a commercial venture? Is ParseHub owned by Parse? Or, even, is ParseHub just the hub for Parse? I think it's a bit of both.
