Can I bundle Netflix and Paramount?
What if I get new content on both (and keep both libraries)? Or is I have everything an easy trap to fall into? For the next 2 weeks, we're exploring these questions in great detail.
How to get things and save the money that usually goes into buying stuff. As the show notes of the episode mention, streaming isn't just great for watching stuff on the way, but because of how good it is now, even more people are starting to buy it. We don't like to say that there's a shift because I've known for a while that TV viewing is evolving, but it's pretty dramatic now. I'm so happy about it, especially with kids.
Before, kids just want to be watched. They don't care about how you watch. They want you to stop and talk to them and play with them and all kinds of weird things. Now they want to watch it themselves so they can have your attention for as long as they want. Now I just give them a tablet and they'll just stream.
I'm not a big Apple fanboy, but I know who is. But I do love what the company has been doing on the TV side recently.
Now, with all that said, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. Netflix. When you open up Netflix on your Roku 3, you see an Explore section. Click Explore and then click the More tab. From there, you have 2 options: movies or TV shows. It can get a little confusing in this section. There are different categories and ways to organize your content. At the top of each category are recommendations based on things that you've watched or things you've liked. If I had any kind of issue with any of these features, I'd make no secret about it, but in reality, I have nothing but love for the company.
Once you get deeper, you can also search.

Is there a Netflix bundle?
I'm a little torn on this as I love streaming, but don't want to give up on my favorite service.
I have Netflix on my tablet and phone, and antenna connected to a Roku box that provides me with great streaming content. But when it comes time to sit down in front of the TV, there's no "one box fits all" solution. So is there a bundle? Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
We actually signed up for all the services back in the day when were really into streaming movies and TV shows. It works really well, the kids are happy that they can get content from Hulu for free and the adults don't have to feel like they have to pay for every show or movie they watch.
I don't have a Netflix subscription anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't want one. I was really thinking of getting into the Netflix business as the wife and I recently bought an HD TV and decided to splurge on a new cable package and I was wondering if Netflix would be a good fit for us, but as my wife and I are both big TV fans, I've been looking at all the options available to us. You could probably do the same thing through your Roku, assuming it's a smart TV. You'd use the free Roku Streaming Stick as the source and then you'd add Netflix, Hulus or some other place to stream content from. Or you could use the same account and just switch between services. Either way, you don't lose anything by getting Netflix if it's already on another platform you're already paying for.

This is an excellent idea! How much do those packages cost? That's what I want to know. Quote:You could probably do the same thing through your Roku, assuming it's a smart TV.
