Can you watch TV on T-Mobile Home internet?
Hey guys, I have a T-Mobile Home package and while the HDTV has worked, I am wondering can I watch TV on the internet or phone from my laptop or pc?
Or even using a dvd/blueray player on the TV? I have a D-Link DI-828P wireless router and I was just wondering if I can connect to my T-Mobile account from my computer and watch live tv, or maybe record from the website. And is it just limited to T-mobile internet or can I also use a cable internet? Ive heard I cant use a cable internet. I dont know if there is another service where you can do this. Thanks for all the help.
Re: ? You can buy a USB antenna and connect it to your computer and watch on a web browser with an external tuner card, like a PCI or USB tuner card. You can also buy an internal antenna and connect it to your router and watch with your computer through the internal tuner.
You can also buy TV tuners and watch from a PC using a cable connection to the TV, or set-top box and receiver. If you want to save money, you can buy a cable or satellite box and use that. The D-Link DI-828P is an external cable and satellite receiver.
Thanks for all the replies guys. I havent tried the dlink or antenna but I found a usb antenna that I got free from a local business with a dvr, works good, but I want to connect my laptop to it. I really need to learn more about connecting hardware.
Can I get the T-mobile internet service with phone internet too or does it have to be separate? Is there a limit? I haven't used a T-mobile Home package, so I don't know how they work, but I would think they would include phone internet. From what I understand, it's just not as good as standard tmobile internet.
If I'm reading this right, you could get tmobile internet with a router and TV tuner in a separate package.
Does T-Mobile have bundle plans?
I'm currently on the unlimited data plan, but it's about to expire.
Anybody know? Re: T-Mobile has bundle plans? No, not at the moment. Last edited by JaxB; Nov 6th, 2024 at 10:14 PM. Reason: Clarification. I am in the same situation as you. The reason I went with Tmo was because of the 200 minutes/month freebies. But, I will have to go back to AT&T when I renew my contract next month.

How much does it cost to start T-Mobile internet?
T-Mobile internet plans are as competitive as they are because of the low prices.
If you don't have to pay for a large amount of data, you can afford to be more generous.
T-Mobile internet is available in two types, prepaid and postpaid. The former includes unlimited data, but you have to pay for it. The latter includes data on a per-use basis. Both are available in a number of different speeds.
These plans are affordable, but there is a catch. To get unlimited data, you have to pay for it. So, if you don't need a lot of data, you'll pay for it. If you're a heavy user, it may end up costing more than if you'd paid for an amount of data at a higher speed.
In order to get started with T-Mobile internet, you'll have to pay for the plan first. You then pay for the data you use. It's not like AT&T or Verizon where you buy one and use it as much as you want for a set period of time.
However, the plans do come with many benefits. Here's how much it costs to start T-Mobile internet.
To get started with T-Mobile internet, you'll need to pay for your plan first. There are three basic options: Prepaid. Postpaid. Unlimited data. You can add on extra services like talk and text as well. We'll discuss these further.
The prepaid plan is ideal for those who don't need a lot of data. The monthly price is relatively low. You'll have to pay for your first month and then a low monthly fee. It'll give you 400 minutes of talk and 200 texts.00 per text.
That's not a lot, so you can use the data you get for free. You'll only have to pay for data you use.
There are some downsides to the plan. For starters, you won't get any money back when you return the device. T-Mobile doesn't allow you to use it on their network if you return it.
