Why is Stremio not working on Android?
So far my experience with Stremio is really nice.
I've been happy with it since the beginning, until now. When I connect my android device with my computer and try to launch Stremio I get an "Access is denied" message. I've tried it on both an old Samsung Galaxy 2 and a Xiaomi 3. I tried disabling my antivirus program, removing the cache etc etc but none of that has solved the problem. In fact sometimes it seems like my computer slows down or crashes when trying to download the app.
Am I missing some important step here? This is very important for me as it will mean that I have to delete stremio and try another option which is really frustrating.
How do I add Stremio addons to my Android?
The only option seems to be to have Stremio on a Desktop Browser, and then when you want to play a video, load it in a browser of your choosing. Is there a way to add to your Android for that convenience.
Add Stremio Client to your phone and access it via the client. You can even use any normal app instead of the browser for this, like Chrome or Firefox (or Dolphin too). If you need an app that makes the client more convenient, you can also install apps that are free like MiniPlayer or Player Pro.
The addons can still be loaded for your Stremio client, but it doesn't hurt to use an app that's already set up. If your phone uses chrome as its default browser, you may not even need to change your default browser at all.
What do you think should be included in the next version? I love the idea and am looking forward to your feedback. @lolllllx, how does it work? I have a friend who uses xbox live and I am trying to find one of the services he uses to play things on his xbox. So if you could please tell me about that would be great! I don't think they made a video showing the service, but I'm sure that's coming soon. You can use our API's "XML" documentation to look through the XML data that XBL sends to the Stremio server. It's not as easy as it could be, because each user has a private XBL key, but you can do it.
I didn't like it that much at first, but now I use it everyday since v0.30.
What is the best source for Stremio?
I am trying to figure out which is the best source for Stremio.
I tried some free ones like YouTube and Vimeo and they do work but the quality of the videos on them are pretty bad. It seems like they don't want you to watch the video as much as possible, like for example they cut off the video at the end so that you have to click again to go to the next video. If you want a good source for Stremio, is it better to go to a premium one like Vimeo or is it better to find a free one that you can trust? I also tried watching Stremio on Chrome and it works really good.
I just tried Vimeo and they play the video really good. But the videos are not as long as they are on YouTube, like for example on Vimeo you can only watch the video for like 6-7 minutes. That's not enough time to watch the whole video.
I'm using Vimeo but I think the quality isn't that good. I would say that Vimeo is the best source for Stremio. If you want to get the most quality you should use Vimeo Premium.
Stremio was released for Android in April and Windows in August. It's also available on iOS and Windows Phone (but not Android). We're working on the Mac version.
The other sites you've mentioned all have ads and have to pay to get rid of the ads. Stremio is ad-free.
I've tried Stremio but it looks like the quality of the video is really bad. I tried it on my Windows computer and it looked like the quality of the video wasn't that great. Maybe that's because I'm not that good at computer things. But it was really hard to watch the video on the website. I really wanted to use it but I couldn't use it on my computer because of the quality.
I also tried watching Stremio on Chrome and it worked really good. But the quality of the videos were really bad. I can't tell what the quality of the video is.
What do you mean by "the quality of the video isn't that great"? It's really great for me. The quality of the video looks good to me.
