I recently ran across one person who claimed it was impossible to watch videos on a Proton Media PC and connected to their TV, so I decided to test it out.

Setting Up Connections. After connecting your device to your TV using any of the options available in your TV, you'll need to do three things before using it with the Proton Media PC software. You'll need to enable your computer's monitor as a display for your TV. Once you do, you should be able to run the apps on your PC as well as use a remote control to change the settings and navigate the menus.
