Why is Signal not working on iPhone?

I have downloaded the latest version of Signal for my iPhone and it doesn't connect to the server. Is it because of the updated Google Play Services for iOS or is it an issue with the new iOS 9.3. When I used to have Signal, I could login to the server using the app on my computer and then on my phone it would work fine, but that doesn't seem to be the case now. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my iPhone 5c. Then I realized that I had my iPhone set to automatic updates and I needed to switch it to normal settings. Now everything works as it should. Hope this helps.
