What is the current version of FortiClient VPN only?

You should be aware that the current version of FortiClient VPN only supports Windows operating systems.

We will release a version of FortiClient VPN for Linux and Mac OS X in due course. Please see our future releases for more information on these products.

What if I wish to use FortiClient VPN on a network with different types of users? Will the client support this? We have designed FortiClient VPN to support multiple users simultaneously. We will be making changes to the product in due course to support this scenario.

I am using the free version of FortiClient VPN; how do I get full access to the product? You need to purchase a license for the FortiClient VPN product to obtain access to the product's features. You will be able to log in using a unique user name and password (that are different from the ones you use for the free version). I have been using the free version of FortiClient VPN for some time, but I want to try the full version; how do I do this? The process is simple; once you have purchased a license for the FortiClient VPN product, you will be able to login with a unique user name and password. Once you log in, follow the instructions on the FortiClient VPN User Manual for the full features of the product.

I am having problems with the setup and configuration of the product; how can I resolve these issues? The following documents contain help files for resolving issues with the setup and configuration of the product: I have purchased a license for the product; how do I install it on my network? There are various ways that you can install the product. These include: Setup via the ISO Image. The product is installed using the ISO image provided by the FortiClient VPN product.

Setup via the CD-ROM. The product is installed using the CD-ROM provided by the FortiClient VPN product.

What version of FortiClient do I have?

FortiClient is used to manage the security for your network and to control the access to different network resources.

In this section, you will learn about the FortiClient versions available to you and how to change them.

FortiClient is installed and can be found on the following sub-menu: Network Management > Device Manager > FortiClient. Note: A FortiClient is only available on FortiGate devices. Select the FortiClient version that you want to use from the drop-down list in the Device Manager window. Click on the Update Device icon to update the device. The FortiClient version will be selected as the new device default version.

If a notification dialog box pops up, click OK. Your device will return to the Device Manager window and the new FortiClient version will be displayed. To clear the current version of FortiClient and revert the device to using the previous version: Select Clear System Settings and click OK. The device will return to the Device Manager window and all of the settings and information for the device will be cleared.
