I recently wrote about the best sellers on Amazon, and I'm always interested to see which series sell the most books. It might be a stretch to call any of these series a cult favorite among readers, but there are a few that have a bit of a cult following. Whether you enjoy these series or not is completely up to you, but I have a feeling you'll find something to enjoy. The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness Written by Michelle Cooper. Published by Orbit. This series has sold over 1 million copies since it launched in 2026. It's the third bestselling series on Amazon and currently only the second bestselling new author series.

If you're into epic fantasy or epic fantasy, then this series is for you. This series follows a group of magical beings from the realm of the ancient past. These beings can harness their inner power to create fantastic beasts, warriors, and magics. Their stories take place after the original creation of the multiverse, and they share stories with other creatures from the past.

It's told from the point of view of one of the main characters, who happens to be a dragon, a warlock, and a shapeshifter. We learn how the story of their world got started, and we meet some interesting characters along the way. The series covers over 50 books, so it's been going for quite a while.

The Dark Tower. Written by Stephen King. Published by HarperCollins. Stephen King wrote the first three books of this series. It follows a man named Jake Chambers as he pursues The Man in Black. This man in black is the last of his kind, a mysterious immortal from the time of Atlantis who possesses magical powers.

This series takes place in a fictional universe, so there are different versions of Atlantis and the Dark Tower. If you like fantasy and/or mythology, you'll definitely want to pick this series up. It has over a million copies sold, so clearly there are a lot of people who love this series.

The Expanse. Written by James S. Corey This series is written by the screenwriter for Game of Thrones.

After meeting an elderly woman who survived the same accident, Kimmy begins an epic journey of hilarity, heartbreak, and redemption that will ultimately teach her the most valuable lesson of all: We're only as strong as our weakest link.

The first season of Kimmy Schmidt follows one unlucky woman's odyssey to find purpose and community in the midst of adversity, exploring her relationship with her parents and friends along the way. This show is not new, but it has always been one of my favorites. Season two has been filming and I am hoping that Netflix will be able to release this new season in the US. Master of None (2016). A series highlighting the experiences of young non-white men in contemporary New York City, the show follows two friends, Dev and Aziz, on their quest to start careers and navigate relationships in a fast-moving cultural landscape. Although there are no official ratings, Master of None recently finished its six-episode first season on Netflix streaming. However, it seems to be on the rise; I noticed over 1.5 million views last year, and I'm sure that it will hit 10 million views by the end of the year. If you haven't seen this show yet, try it out! You won't regret it.

The Crown (2016). The Crown is a historical drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Philip, through three generations of their descendants. I know that many people thought this show was going to be boring with the first season being only five episodes.

And now that Netflix's family plan is live, they've come out with a ton of great kids' programming for everyone to enjoy. While most things are streamlined, there's still tons of quality programming right now. So, which is the best show for the whole family?

In addition to being available on Netflix, the following series are also available via Prime Video and Amazon as well. Check out all the available kids shows below! Boku No Hero Academia. What is it about? The story of Deku, a high school student who is trying to become a hero by entering the titular Hero Academia program. His journey takes him on a rollercoaster adventure of friends, family, villains, and many other things. There are tons of character growth throughout the series that makes this one of the best anime series currently on Netflix.

Why this series is for you: Even if you're not into anime, this is still a great kids' show. The characters have lots of heart, the villains come out in full force, and it has tons of action sequences that make you feel like a child again. The fight scenes are choreographed very well, and the animation quality is top-notch. This is actually a perfect show for the younger audiences, and for that reason alone, we highly recommend it. In fact, the first episode alone made us fall in love with this show.

We highly suggest that this is the series you have your kids watch with you. Even if they don't think they like anime, they will be hooked into a whole new world and characters of their own.

Recommended if your kids enjoy: Rise of Skywalker - The new trilogy continues into season 3 and 4 of Boku No Hero Academia as well. Digimon (2019-present). What is it about? An odd looking, bipedal lizard creature called a Digimon is born in America and has to learn how to use his new powers and adapt to life while learning what it means to be human.
