What is the main responsibility of IP?
In many countries, it is not clear to the public what IP is, what role it plays, or what is its main responsibility.
And when there is some responsibility, whether that responsibility is too broad or not, will be a question for many people.
I believe that as long as there are not any regulations and guidelines on how IP works, it would better to work in a more general context like protecting the environment or developing nations. How can the world protect the environment? I believe that protecting the environment needs support from all stakeholders in society, whether it is the government, businesses, or NGOs. I think it is better for companies to cooperate with the government to work out strategies to control greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2). This is not limited to just the US but even in many European countries. On the other hand, I also feel that the efforts of NGOs such as Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace should not be forgotten.
How can developing nations develop? By giving them the financial support needed to help with the development of those nations, and also by assisting their education and healthcare system. In developing countries, where the rate of poverty is high, they need many things, like food, schools, healthcare, etc. If they are given support from the international community, they can overcome these challenges.
What do you think about net neutrality? I think that net neutrality is an important topic in our day. There are many people who may not understand what net neutrality is because they are not too clear about the concept of the internet. Net neutrality means that there is no limitation on using the internet, that the speed of access is the same for everyone, and that everyone is allowed to access the internet. The question of net neutrality is whether one company is allowed to charge the internet faster than another company for the same reason. If a company is allowed to charge faster service, then the internet service costs will increase. Thus, if this trend continues, only rich countries in the world would have the ability to afford the internet.
It is not good that a company decides which websites they provide faster access for.
What is the function of IP address?
There are two possible meanings for an IP address.
The IPv4 address: the first four numbers that identifies a computer or device that is connected to the internet. The IPv6 address: the first six numbers that identifies a computer or device that is connected to the internet. It's important to remember that it was initially designed for a different protocol. IPv6 was designed to replace IPv4 since the latter has a running out of valid numbers problem. When you think about it, having 64 possible addresses instead of 32 gives you a lot more room to store addresses on your devices and on your networks' switches.
So, why does having an ip address imply that it can be used for internet traffic? Well, when computers communicate with each other over the internet, they do it with IP addresses. The IP address identifies the sender, so that a router (the intermediary between one computer and the other one) knows which computer is sending a packet and in which direction the message has to travel to reach its destination.
So, in a nutshell, IP addresses identify any computer that is connected to the internet, or if you will, any internet-connected computer. You have to have a DNS server to resolve names into IP addresses. You can either do this locally, like www.mycompany.com maps to 203.75.1, or you can just give out the IPs of your web servers and let anyone connect. With your web hosting example, when someone visits www.com, your web server gets a HTTP GET request asking it to give it a particular HTTP response message and a particular header. Each web server needs to be set up individually to handle requests. On my last job we had many computers with web servers that had names assigned. The hostname was always on our LAN domain name. If we put in www.com, then it worked because our DNS servers looked up the requested hostname and translated it into an IP address. Each machine needed to have a dynamic IP that changes depending on the location.

IP address is identified by three numbers separated by dots, which are called IP address, for example 209.69.68.78 means that this computer has IP address 209.
Every device connected to the internet must have an IP address, just like every individual requires a personal identity card. It is important to point out that you may not see or do not recognize the presence of IP address or the fact that it has an impact on your life. An IP address does not carry with it any data that can be used to identify the location of a particular device; that information lies within the physical location of the device.
Where does it come from? IP address comes from a router which acts as the main communication link between the various computers within the network. Whenever you visit a website and open the HTML source code of that site, your computer sends a message to the ISP (Internet Service Provider) server who passes it on to the intended site which then displays the content to you. It's from the router that this process takes place.
Why do we need IP address in networking?
I am not asking why we need IP address, because it's a basic thing that every computer needs. However, I have a question on the network configuration part of IP address.
Network configuration is used to configure your local network. It's like the configuration of router, switch, etc. That controls the communication between different machines.
For example, let's say you have two computers connected to a router and a switch. They can talk to each other, but they cannot talk to any computer that is not connected to this network.
That's why we need a router and a switch in our network. A router is responsible forwarding all the data to a destination address. On the other hand, a switch is responsible for connecting two computers together.
If you need to talk to the internet, you need a router. But if you just want to connect two machines together, you need a switch.
So what's the difference between router and switch? The router is more complicated. The switch just connects two things together.
If you have a computer connected to a router, it will automatically forward the data to another computer on the internet. In this case, the router is the computer that is responsible for all the communication.
But the switch doesn't have that responsibility. Instead, the switch is just responsible for connecting two things together.
In the above example, the router is like the cable of internet and the switch is like the wireless keyboard. They are both responsible for connecting different things together. But only one of them is responsible forwarding the data to the internet.
What about IP address? IP address is the most important part of any network configuration. It's the first thing that every machine needs to know.
In the early days of the internet, most people would use their computers directly connected to the internet. However, many people already had their own networks and they didn't want their computers to talk directly to the internet.
So they created their own network to avoid exposing their computers to the public. In this case, the router is the device that controls the communication.
If you connect to a network, you need to be able to tell it where to send the data.
