What is the login for 192.168 1.1 router?

What is the default login ID for ASUS router?

Can I have a VPN server on Windows 7 with a LAN?

Why must I select a new login when I reboot Windows after changing the name of my machine? If I change the DNS to one that my wireless clients will use, will the clients stop asking for DNS from local servers? Are NAT/PAT ports forwarded automatically when I use the firewall port forward rules? Are these NAT rules correct: The 192.168.0/24 is 192.1 -> 10.2

The 192.1 -> 20.2
-> 6.6 -> 208.67.222
-> 128.3.12
-> 129.66.4
-> 129.5

How do I log into my ASUS router?

I installed a Logitech K400 Keyboard that has Bluetooth.

I set up my ASUSWRT-AC87U wireless router which has a button for the Logitech keyboard to connect. The Logitech works fine if you hit the keyboard and the device connects to it, but the ASUSWRT doesn't work at all (it doesn't even log in to its own password). Is this because the Logitech keyboard does not support the ASUS router or is there something else that I am missing?

I was able to get on with the Logitech keyboard and the ASUSWRT, so the keyboard will work on both routers. You might want to see if the user manual mentions any additional configuration. You mentioned pressing the keyboard's button. What button? That's not much to go on!

I had a similar issue; my computer did not support Bluetooth Low Energy, and therefore I had to pair with an older Bluetooth 2.0 version, but I could never seem to make my USB BT dongle log into it either (even the one that came with the Logitech receiver) so I ended up having to buy yet another router and using the ethernet wire to transfer everything to the new one.

Try the instructions I received on the "Using your PC and BT dongle to connect to the Logitech receiver" thread, but follow them carefully: you will need to get the Windows driver for the Logitech RX receiver, and that USB wire - and you have to use it on the ASUS router, not on your PC - won't do any good if it is plugged into the wrong place. Then if you can find the correct spot, it should work fine. For that I think the router's port 1 has to be accessible through a panel somewhere on the back of it.

What is the home IP address for ASUS router?

Is there a way to find out the address of my ASUS router without getting IP addresses of all devices on it?

The problem is, some of the devices have VPN set up which can change the IP address of your PC for example. If I want to locate the ASUS router then it should be enough for me to know the subnet of it. But as you can see from the diagram above, there are a lot of non-working devices in that subnet. Does such subnet really represent the physical location of my router? Or should I just get IPs of working devices on this subnet?

The physical address of your router is probably not stored in its hardware; routers keep a small internal table, and the MAC address of devices on the LAN is compared against that table to find the matching device to forward the packets to. So, if a device isn't configured to be on a different LAN, its IP address will not change.

If you can confirm that a particular router can communicate with one of these devices, it might be a good idea to try this to see where the packets are coming from. Maybe the gateway's firewall is stopping the traffic? If the device is behind a proxy (a common problem), it could be checking the source IP address to determine what server to forward it to. You can check by running a packet sniffer (like Wireshark) on both the router and this device and watching the traffic going between them.

What is the login for 192.168 1.1 router?

is the default password is: defaultuser

I hope you have a physical access to that device and can see inside.

It usually has something like username admin,password admin, which is default. If you can read the manual, you should find it there.

Also, if the device has remote access and you are trying to connect using the IP address directly without having this device configured to respond to the request (in some DHCP, or as an AP), but it is configured to listen on some UDP port, then the remote request will be ignored and the request never reached the default user defined in router configuration, because it seems to be listening only on your local IP address.
