How do I download a webpage as a PDF in Chrome?

I am running chrome version 35.

0.1916.114 on ubuntu 12.04 and whenever I try to download a page as a pdf it asks for saving the file with a file name. But when I save it in the PDF format it is of blank pages. Does anyone know what's going wrong here?

If you're not using a proxy, it can be due to a browser setting. Go to the browser option 'Privacy' then scroll down to 'File downloads' and enable the 'Download files without prompting' option. This should solve your problem.

Answer: As a rule, I will use the Google Chrome plug-in; however, most web browsers work quite nicely for this task as well. You may want to download any page as a PDF in order to open the PDF files easier when you are able to view your PDF downloads; it may be easier than typing in a web address and it works very well with any version of any browser or smartphone. In addition, some services offer this option as part of their standard offerings so as long as you log into a website or web service, you will see the capability to convert web pages into a downloadable format on your PC as long as you are logged into their site or service.

Answer: You will not be able to retrieve your lost account. As of this writing, Google has a feature called Account Cloning that can recover your information at the current page but it is an expensive upgrade as it may be a few dollars per month at this time, but keep that in mind. If you must restore your Google Mail account, you will need to pay money to Google which may or may not work depending on whether your email was stored in the cloud or not as all emails are stored and available on their servers and even though you cannot retrieve these items, your email may still be stored on their servers. In addition, some web browsers allow this function as an inbuilt web tool.
