Is Proton VPN log free?
Proton VPN is a free IP VPN service.
That is not a typo. It means you don't have to pay a monthly fee to use their service. With Proton VPN, the only limitation that one of the service comes with is the number of simultaneous connections you can make. Unlike other virtual private networks which offer an unlimited number of users, Proton VPN limits the number of servers or client connections on your account to 50. Still, this number is higher than other paid VPN services where connection limitations come in the range of three to ten.
You'll be getting access to an unlimited number of devices from any one of the 50 locations available. With over 90 servers in 60 countries around the globe, you are more likely to experience connection speeds at least two times faster than other paid VPN services.
What benefits does Proton VPN offer? Proton VPN is one of the fastest VPNs available for free. Its network delivers up to 740Mbps download speeds. This is the standard speed available through its server network. However, the bandwidth limit only applies when downloading data. Uploading files from the server to the device is unlimited. For users with LTE network connectivity, downloads and uploads will be even faster.
With Proton VPN, free users only get two types of features. Connections are either unlimited, or limited to 50 clients. The difference between these two options comes from the type of server you're connected to. Unrestricted connections occur when you connect to the most popular server or client. Limited connections happen when you connect to the least-populated servers.
However, Proton VPN gives users access to all the server information. If you want to know which servers are less popular, unplugging them from your network won't give you trouble. On the other hand, unplugging a popular server won't make much of a difference to your connection speed.
You get to choose where to browse the web. With your own VPN, everything you do is encrypted. Proton VPN makes it easy to create a private network at home and use it to browse the Internet. You can have up to six separate connections. With its server network, Proton VPN works on every browser out there. The number of VPN servers in each location ensures that you'll get excellent connection speeds.

VPN Connecting Problem.
ProtonVPN is a high speed VPN. It works well on all my devices and even on my tablet. I use ProtonVPN to stream and download torrents from BitTorrent. However, lately I have experienced that ProtonVPN is just not connecting. It works fine for the first 10 minutes and then fails to connect at all. I have rebooted, reinstalled, restarted my PC and it just does not work.I will describe the symptoms I experience on my PC. In order to access the server settings, I have to right click on the ProtonVPN icon in the notification bar and click on "Open app". From there I can go to the "Settings" tab where I am able to change the server settings. When I connect to the server I usually get the message "Connecting.", but nothing else. Nothing happens. My torrents don't download. This does not happen only when I connect with ProtonVPN but it happens randomly. Sometimes I can open "settings" and sometimes I cannot. My friends with ProtonVPN can't connect either. We are trying to find out what the problem is, but we haven't found any clues. What do you think could be the problem?

@Vonnysan Yes, the problem may be related to Internet Explorer 11 or Edge browser. We have just issued a patch that makes ProtonVPN work with IE11.
I do not know if this will help, but you can turn off the automatic updates in the Windows Settings.
