How do I turn off blocking on my Samsung?

How do I stop my Samsung phone from blocking calls?

I got a new phone and while I was trying to make calls some were getting blocked due to 'no call received'.

? This is a question that has arisen on many forums. The most common cause of this is the mobile phone operator will have you on the cheapest SIM card for free. In most cases it makes sense as these plans cover all your calls (to anywhere in the world) as long as you make them in your country, but with a low credit limit - how many free calls can you possibly be expected to make per month? If your account hasn't had that much activity then you will not have enough credit available to call that often, so your phone will think you have made your calls already and it will stop them reaching you.

If you have been assigned a mobile phone for work you will almost certainly already have some sort of company mobile phone plan, which means you should have a number allocated to you for incoming calls at your workplace. The problem is if you don't use the company provided handset or one provided for you by the IT department it may not have a SIM card installed. To check that your SIM has been activated we recommend that you use the latest free Android app, My SIM card Info, which also reveals when it expires. You can then make a call to your company number via the app. To find out your company's official numbers please click on our Help menu and then 'Company Numbers' under contacts. If it is not listed then you need to ask your IT manager/company representative.

If there is no phone number listed there, then it does not mean your SIM card is not activated, it simply means that the IT person did not have time to contact their line manager to check and register the SIM in their system. If you have no phone allocated to you in the first place it means you are working in an area where phone signal strength is poor, so it will best to move nearer the main office if at all possible. Here is how to activate the SIM. Tap More or Manage on most devices.

Why is my Samsung phone rejecting calls?

I have been using my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus for about one year now, but recently I had an issue that caused it to reject phone calls.

The problem started at 10:53 PM and I was not aware of the issue until 3:30 AM the next day. If I receive a phone call while the phone is on, the phone vibrates and a "call rejected" screen appears on the phone. I called AT&T and they told me to go to the nearest AT&T store and have them fix it. The store said that they couldn't fix it so I took my phone to my brother's house and he did it for me. I have no clue what caused this to happen as I have no idea how to go about fixing it. All of my numbers are on the phone and it has worked fine before. Any ideas?

Re: Is there a way to fix the issue? Yes. You need to download the app "Caller ID" and enable it to recognize your caller id number. Then you need to reboot the phone. Once the phone reboots it will automatically fix itself.

I have the same exact problem with my S8 + When I put it in my pocket, it will beep and vibrate and then turn off. The same thing will happen when I receive a phone call or message. There is no way for me to get a response back. Sometimes I'll call my family and it will ring for a second, but then nothing. It's very frustrating.

Yes, but unfortunately we won't be able to help you because we're not able to replicate your issue. However, if you were to submit a case through our Tech Support, we may be able to provide you with additional assistance.

Thanks for posting back. The information above was removed from the official website and was not originally a part of your post. We will continue to monitor this thread and answer questions as they arise.
