Does ExpressVPN actually give money back?

Why is ExpressVPN not refunding?

ExpressVPN's customer service team are telling me they can't refund.

They've gone around to every one of my countries that uses their service, and apparently their credit card processor is doing the usual "we're being instructed to do this, not to do that" dance with their systems. Apparently they were getting around this problem until recently, when they switched service providers.

I know I was a loyal customer. I was a long time ago. When I signed up for VPN.ag (another cheap VPN that let you use their servers without paying a fee or giving any information) they made a point to say 'Hey if you pay us for your subscription we will put a button on the homepage saying ExpressVPN doesn't provide data security' after I found out how they worked.

I've been asking them and I'm still not getting anywhere. Is there any way I could get my money back? This means I'm screwed out of 2/3 months of a VPN subscription and Express hasn't given a single reason as to why it's my fault that they're unable to refund me.

The Express staff are being rude and unhelpful. Are there any alternatives that refund? Or is this more of a question of, do they deserve my money or not? As a customer I feel I deserve something and I'd love an alternative to get the money back.

Re: ? How did you sign up with ExpressVPN? Did they do a chargeback? The VPN isn't about trust. It's about control - what you control, when you control it, who you share it with. VPNs are not a magic bullet; they are not safe. Use wisely! But it's better than nothing - and it's a great way to start getting some security into your online life.

Is it because you're using their US servers, which aren't eligible for a refund? They changed in June this year, from all US servers only, to a "multi-server" arrangement, that is, not exclusively US servers. And, since July, they've changed from monthly plans, to yearly "lifetime" plans, which are actually less expensive.

How do I get my 30-day money back guarantee on ExpressVPN?

ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money back guarantee for all plans.

If you are not satisfied with your experience within the first month, you cancel at any time before that period ends and receive a refund of your subscription fee paid on the date of purchase. We recommend using the 1 month version as it includes one extra day than the 3 month plan. However, some users prefer to use the 30 days trial period to decide if they want to continue using ExpressVPN or not. In any case, you have nothing to lose if you cancel before the end of your 30 days free trial and your subscription is not charged.

How do I set up an ExpressVPN account? You can set up your ExpressVPN account in three simple steps: Click on the ExpressVPN icon in the browser bar and select the option Sign up. Where can I find ExpressVPN servers? ExpressVPN uses over 2024 servers in 94 countries around the world. While most of our servers are in Europe, we have servers in several other parts of the world, including the USA, Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, China, Japan and the Philippines.

The servers we use are the same that you will use with our software on your computer, laptop, phone or tablet. However, we only have access to the servers that are currently online. There are no servers live 24/7, so if you need to connect to a specific server, you have to wait for it to be up and running. In the meantime, ExpressVPN will work using the standard VPN protocol.

Our VPN servers are constantly updated, but there might be periods of time when there are no new servers being added. If you try to connect to a server that doesn't exist, the connection will fail.

Which VPN has 30-day money back?

I've been using ExpressVPN for years now.

The reason I haven't changed is because I can usually test and confirm that the VPN works on a particular area without any issue. This is because I have access to many locations in Europe and Australia but ExpressVPN only sells those two. There's no Asian or South American option so I haven't really been a need.

Recently, I've needed access to China. I don't know which server works well there, though I suppose it'll depend on what server they pick. I'll also need a lot of servers in Australia in case they try to cut off their connection.

My concern is that ExpressVPN has a 30-day money back guarantee. If I purchase any VPN plan (for 30 days) in just 24 hours, then within a day they would refund my money. If I spend the next week messing around with the VPN, they would still refund my money. I assume this offer doesn't even have a limit and you get a full refund if you cancel the service within 7 days.

Would it better to spend the money on an extra month's subscription to a VPN or should I cancel as soon as possible? Re: I have 10 different servers that I use. ? I've had a similar situation since before the 30 days of the trial ended, I tried everything from CyberGhost (they are the only decent company that offers more than 2 servers at the time) to TunnelBear and I could not use them. TunnelBear was way too slow and VPN software wouldn't display my location on its map, or even connect to my VPN unless I rebooted and logged in to the VPN manually, so that's not useful. ExpressVPN was the only one that worked reliably and that actually showed my locations on their maps, I didn't have to click around at all. They also only sell their premium service for 12 months, but that's a lot cheaper than the monthly fee for an entire year for all of the other companies. That said, after the trial I couldn't use them, so I had to cancel.

I recommend choosing the best plan for you, even if it costs a little more at first. You'll always have options to buy more once your 30 day trial ends.

It sounds like you're worried about the cost.
