How do I unblock macros in Windows 11?

Macros,unblocking,Windows,11,13. Macros is a very important feature of windows.I am trying to unblock macros in windows 11.I have tried some ways but it didn't work for me.I have got few queries about this.

I have tested the following ways and all have worked for me: Method 1: Go to Control Panel > "Programs and Features" > "Turn Windows features on or off" > turn "Macros" to off. Method 2: Open the registry editor (regedit.exe) by right-clicking the Windows key and selecting "Open Registry Editor".

Search for the registry value HKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced and remove the word "Macro" from the value. Method 3: Open the registry editor (regedit.exe) by right-clicking the Windows key and selecting "Open Registry Editor".

Search for the registry value HKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced and add the word "Macro" before "Disable". Method 4: Open the registry editor (regedit.exe) by right-clicking the Windows key and selecting "Open Registry Editor".

The following command can be used to find the values to modify in the registry: REG QUERY HKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced /v Disable

Why won't Excel allow me to enable macros?

I have some Excel spreadsheets in which I used macros (which have nothing to do with macros, just ordinary code) to sort data. In these, when I try to enable macros, I get the following message: Macro enabled successfully. You will receive an email whenever a macro is run. And the option to enable macros is grayed out. Is it just me, or are there also other users having problems enabling macros? If I do the same thing using Access, then macros are enabled for all databases. Excel is sometimes a tough customer. 1) Disable any add-ins / third party scripts that you installed (as suggested in comments). 2) If that doesn't help, remove Office. 3) Restart both machines to clear any issues. 4) Reinstall. 5) Maybe a bit desperate, start up your Office machine as administrator and do a quick search of each computer to remove any viruses (though if you installed any scripts on either system you'll probably know).

How do I run macros in Windows 11?

I know I can run macros in Windows 10, but I can't find the same functionality in Windows 11.

You can only run macros from other apps that have the same permissions (and also have "run macros when other apps are running" as an extra option) as Word or Excel. Unfortunately, there's no way to set "Run macro when other apps are running" in a Microsoft app, but you can do it in any other app that has the same permissions and is compatible with the Windows versions you're running. You can also set the permissions of a different Microsoft app to be the same as another, if that's the functionality you're looking for.

Word for example, allows you to create new documents, and those documents can contain macros that can be run by other applications (like Excel). However, since you're unable to make them compatible for newer versions of Windows, you need to pick one.

If it were up to me, I would choose the one with all the features I need, so in this case, I would choose to use Excel instead.
