How do I unblock a Phone on my Galaxy Phone?

QuestionI bought my new Galaxy phone a week ago and it did not have the app BLOCK to block someone else from using your phone so I want to know if they also bought a phone from Verizon and want to use my new one can they because I am trying to find a way to see what apps that came with it so I can remove what I do not want.

AnswerThis is possible depending on which model of device you have. If the phone is a newer model then you will have BlockMe and Blocking options in the Messaging options on the bottom of the screen. (See screenshot).

If the phone is older than a T-Mobile S4 then there is a separate block me option in the Phone options on the bottom of the screen. Here is an example screenshot: If the phone is a new model and the Blockme and Blocking option are available then you can just click on the name of the person that you would like to block. You will then be sent an email notifying you that you blocked them.

If the phone is an older model and you do not have the Blockme and Blocking option then you will need to block the number that is showing in the top right hand corner of the screen of the contact. The number shows the location of the phone from which the call/text is coming in from and allows you to block the person regardless of which device they are on.

After you have blocked the person they will be notified by an email. (You can read the email at their email address) or see the conversation when you go into the Phone settings.
