How can I find the passcode for my iPhone?

Why am I getting a confirm iPhone passcode message?

I purchased an iPhone 5s a few days ago and have been using the passcode function.

Now I am not sure how this will affect me in the future. I went online to see if it has anything to do with me but I couldn't find any solutions. Can anyone help me with this?

This happens when you choose the iCloud (syncing) type of authentication. It's one of the four options given as authentication methods: Face ID. Touch ID. Passcode. For information, Passcode has become the weakest of the options since iOS 8. Even if they add a 4-digit pin or password that meets Apple's guidelines and is at least 4 characters long, there's no way you could memorize this and it would likely be easier just to use Touch ID, which isn't affected by the question title.

Regardless of what you choose as your auth method, this is a useful warning for all users. While I agree that it's very unlikely you actually have any serious problem that this would solve, it's better to be aware and careful than to take notice.
