Is there a VPN extension for Chrome?
I'm looking for a way to use a VPN on Chrome, but I can't find anything that works properly. I've tried NordVPN, Private Internet Access, and OpenVPN. None of them work properly. I can't access my webmail.
What am I missing? It's a little bit of a known problem. The only VPN that worked well for me is the free version of TunnelBear. They're working on a Chrome extension, but for now, they have an Android app.
The VPN provider Private Internet Access also has a Chrome extension available. I was able to get it working, but you'll need to use their extension. Have you tried TunnelBear? It's free and it works perfectly fine for me.
How do I add TunnelBear extension to Chrome?
I have a public IPv4 address. I am not connected to the internet but I would like to use the TunnelBear service. How do I add the TunnelBear extension to Chrome?
Download TunnelBear for Chrome. After installing, restart the browser and you should see the icon in the toolbar.
TunnelBear have published an installer for the extension which you can download from their website here: Open your browser (chrome, chrome mobile). Open the TunnelBear extension. Click add to my Chrome. You should see the icon in the toolbar. Open your browser (chrome, chrome mobile). Click on the icon in the toolbar.
Does TunnelBear work on Chrome?
ByBrian. I've been using TunnelBear for a few months and really like it. One thing that's been annoying me, though, is that I can't seem to be able to access their site from Chrome. I can access the site fine in Firefox and Safari.e. Is there something I'm missing or is this a problem with them?
Re: TunnelBear works on Chrome? TunnelBear is a Firefox extension which allows you to use a VPN to access the internet. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Chrome or other (for example) mobile browsers. You have to use Firefox if you try to use TunnelBear on Chrome.
Unfortunately it doesn't work on Chrome or other (for example) mobile browsers. What if you use Chrome as your main browser and Firefox as your "main" browser (for example to browse themes and stuff) and use Chrome for websites that you want to access without a VPN? You could just access sites in "incognito mode" and access them without a VPN. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Chrome or other (for example) mobile browsers. What if you use Chrome as your main browser and Firefox as your "main" browser (for example to browse themes and stuff) and use Chrome for websites that you want to access without a VPN? So TunnelBear is only for Firefox? Unfortunately it doesn't work on Chrome or other (for example) mobile browsers.
Is TunnelBear extension Safe?
I have a TunnelBear account and I have been using it for a while now. I have been using it for a couple of years. I have used it for both Android and iOS. I am a bit worried about the extension that TunnelBear offers, the one that allows you to access your TunnelBear account from any website.
I am not sure if it is safe to use it. I have heard that some websites are trying to hack into your account and steal your data.
