What should a 12 year old watch on prime?

I just recieved a used watch from my grandfather, and I want to know if I should buy the original or the copy.

I have never owned a watch before, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

I would like to get an Rado watch. It has a very nice design, and I like the price point, but I have no idea what they should be worth. They say that a 12 year old would be a good age for a watch, but I'm not sure.

When I was 12 I had a Seiko 7 which I liked but not a lot of people did. I have a friend who's 8 years old and he has a Omega Speedmaster that is an absolute monster. It's like a toy in his hands, and he loves it. He wears it everyday with his jeans and a jacket, and I think he even wears it to bed! He tells me he likes it better than a watch dad would buy him because he's old enough to wear it himself.

That's a hard one to answer, as there are a lot of factors involved. You said that you haven't had a watch before. It is a great learning experience to buy a watch, but in all honesty, I don't think you will really enjoy it much if you have never had a watch before. You will be able to tell if it is a quality watch, but what you are going to be missing is a lot of the experience that someone who has owned a watch can tell you about.

There are some very nice watches that are in your price range, and you could get the same amount of enjoyment out of one, but you will learn a lot more from a watch that you already know about, as opposed to a watch that you don't know anything about. I have never owned a watch either, and I absolutely love them. I think that there are two things that you need to consider. First, how important it is to you. Do you want to be able to tell the time at a moments notice? Second, do you want to actually wear it, or just look at it and admire it?

If you are concerned that it is going to be difficult to learn to tell time, there are plenty of apps for smart phones that do the job.
