Thanks in advance. In case it isn't obvious - Mule 4 uses JSON. RAML was originally meant to be a way of using JSON easily, using RAML, but JSON itself would already be sufficient. For integration testing you'll probably use the HTTP client (there is also HTTP Adapter component), which would use HTTP. For unit test using mock objects or a dummy application will help as well.
